- had a thaye that did six singing ghost events in a row before I had even found the breaker
- brief blips of emf 2 with no obvious source might be wraith teleporting around
- some ghost models may vary between standing or crawling from one hunt to the next. assume obake only if the ghost goes from standing to crawling *within a hunt* or briefly appears as different model entirely
- best not to place ghost writing book in range of DOTS projection, the lights may obscure the writing in the book that shade did while you were out of the room
- 02/3/23 the day I heard banshee scream for the first time
- when hantu leaves its room while hunting it will slow down because the temperature is warmer! may not sound fast if it has spent most of its hunting time away from its room
- asking the ghost where they died using ouija board causes you to lose a l o t of sanity
- ghost may flip over the ghost writing book before later writing in it (supposedly will not write after throwing the book)
- young thaye can hunt at 70% sanity and moves very fast
- fingerprints will be at the upper-middle part of household doors and lockers, on windowpanes, light switches; beside the zipper on tents, on mesh tent windows, on top of campsite coolers, on panels on large white tents, can also be on campsite light posts (not only the switches); sometimes on keyboards, pianos
- orbs can be the sneakiest evidence, never rule them out
- don't bother taking photos of computer keyboards or radios for interactions, they are either super unreliable or bugged - lockers also unreliable if no fingerprints
- door opening interaction photos need to be taken from the height at which fingerprints would be, even if the ghost doesn't leave fingerprints
- raiju can hunt at 65% sanity when near active electronic equipment
- if you suspect banshee but haven't seen ghost orbs on video feed it might be bc she has been following you out of the ghost room
- supposedly this is not true and orbs always stay in the ghost room but I like it anyway as a theory
- wraith will never step in salt piles
- if ghost is not a wraith you can get photo credit for the stepped-in salt pile even after the uv footprints have disappeared
- star rating for photos based on distance from subject, need to be ~1 step away for 3 stars, can be somewhat further for ghost. ghost and bone take priority for subject detection
- night vision needed to detect ghost orbs on video camera
- perfect game requirements: identify ghost type; complete all secondary objectives; find, photograph & collect the bone; find and photograph the cursed item; fill book with 3-star photos of interactions, evidence, ghost manifestation; only the first photo of ghost counts
- ghost orbs cannot be deciding piece of evidence unless mimic has been ruled out (spirit box, fingerprints, freezing)
- crucifix does not stop hunt triggered by cursed item
