Italics are necessities, bolds are Holy Grails.

THE BASICS

  • IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer, Light Natural
    • This was creasing on me like mad for a while, but that may have been user error. Formula is quite thick, and I sometimes forget to keep that in mind. Skin tone match is damn near spot on
  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Multi-Use Concealer, 160
    • I bought THE pink concealer, and this combined with the IT Cosmetics concealer is the only thing that has ever done anything for my undereye circles. I prefer this formula but am not sure what my actual skin tone match is
  • Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara, Very Black
    • Yup, still the GOAT
  • Wet ’n’ Wild MegaLast Eyeshadow Primer

CHEEK STUFF

  • The Crème Shop Lip + Cheek Chic Stick, Cherry Blossom
    • Adorable color, and my inner 12-year-old LOVES the scent
  • ILIA Beauty Multi-Stick, At Last (mini)
    • Well, upon further inspection it's functionally identical to another one of my blushes LMAO. Probably won't repurchase in full size, but it's a great rosy color on me
  • Merit Flush Balm x2
    • Mood
    • Rouge
      • These are neverending so I probably won’t need to repurchase them anytime soon. If that time ever comes though, I don’t think I want to support this brand anymore after how dirty their customer service did Wayne Goss
  • Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick - Quickie
    • Last time I got one it got stuck in the bottom so as to be unusable. I missed it though, so I repurchased
  • NARS Blush - Sin
    • Aw shit, baby’s first NARS and I absolutely love it. Was specifically recommended for winters, and I’d say it’s spot on. Doesn’t resemble anything else in my collection either. Worth every penny
  • Rare Beauty Positive Touch Liquid Luminizer, Enchant
    • I seldom go for the celeb makeup lines, but everything I’ve tried so far from Rare Beauty has been a winner. I’m normally not even sold on highlighters, but this one is perfect for me
  • Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush x2
    • Believe
      • I’m always shocked at how naturally this color blends into my skin, given how dark it is in the tube, but it’s a great everyday blush. Highly recommend it if you like to rock cool tones
    • Hope
      • I dunno, I think it’s neutral enough to go nicely with true red lipsticks if I want a subtler cheek color. That said, I probably wouldn’t repurchase (if I ever even fully use it lmao) because I have better colors for my complexion

EYELINER

  • Sephora 12H Contour Eye Pencil x3
    • Black Lace
    • Sangria
    • Waterfall
      • Family friend recommended these. Good lookin’ out!
  • Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner x2
    • Glamrock
    • Midnight Cowboy
      • Mainly bought these for performances, and they work a treat
  • Wet ’n’ Wild MegaLast Breakup Proof Liquid Eyeliner
    • My beloved! You are back in my collection!

EYESHADOW

  • About Face Matte Fluid Eye Paint x2
    • New Karma
      • Okay Halsey, I like your line too. This was kiiiiind of an impulse buy, but damn does it work!
    • No Queen Blues
      • Exactly what I want in a blue
  • ĀTHR Beauty Moonlight Crystal Palette
    • Sadly they are out of business now, so this is no longer available. But it’s full of perfect cool-toned colors and is fairly unique in my collection. Love it!
  • ColourPop 9-Pan Pressed Palette, Gone Metal
    • If you’re cool toned, especially if you’re any winter subtype, buy this palette and thank me later. It is everything
  • Sleek Makeup i-Divine palette x2
    • Under a Spell
      • Soooo pretty. I tend to forget how great Sleek eyeshadows are
    • Vintage Romance
      • Received as a gift. One of the most beautiful palettes I own
      • But that's the thing: the color story is amazing in the palette, but I almost never use it because I have a lot of dupes across my collection. Plus if I want a performance look, I tend to go more for other palettes, including Under a Spell. Not sure I need both anymore. I may Project Pan this and see how I feel
  • Urban Decay NAKED2
    • I’ve had this for so long that I often forget it exists, but it’s still great. Even though I YET AGAIN barely use the couple of slightly warmer shades lmao
  • Urban Decay NAKED Ultimate Basics
    • I use at least one shade from this palette daily… and 95% of the time it’s from the upper half of the palette lmao. Tell me you lean cool toned without telling me
  • Viseart Cashmerie Étendu
    • Love their eyeshadows. I use this palette almost every day… though yet again with the untouched warm colors HAHAHA
  • Viseart Petits Fours x3
    • Garnet
      • Too warm toned for me, but I love that red and garnet is my birthstone sooooo
    • Lilas
    • Tyrian

LIP GOODIES

  • Bite Beauty Mini Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss Trio (Cider Donut, Sugar Buns, Sugar Drizzle)
    • These are reasonable sizes for lip gloss tbh. Cider Donut is the product I didn’t know I needed, Sugar Buns is MLBB, and Sugar Drizzle makes a beautiful topper. Love the cinnamon bun scent too
  • e.l.f. O Face Satin Lipstick, Shameless
    • I think I found my 90s style neutral! Really impressed with how lovely this formula is in general, and this color is so nice to use with different liners and glosses
  • Haus Labs PhD Hybrid Lip Oil, Hue
    • Reminds me of a lip gloss I had long ago, but this formula is definitely better. I don’t do minimal-makeup days too often, but this is great for those
    • I'd totally try more stuff from Haus Labs, buuuuuut *waves around at this list*
  • MAC lipstick x3
    • Bombshell
      • Ooooo I took a chance on this one, and it’s about as light as I can possibly go. I had Fanfare back in the day, but this is a much better match for my undertones
    • D for Danger (mini)
      • Picking a favorite lipstick is damn near impossible, but this might be the one. It’s everything I wanted Revlon Cherries in the Snow to be back in the day. I hope the color didn’t change in the new formula. According to video reviews it looks about the same, but we’ll see eventually, maybe
    • Russian Red
      • I finally bought it, and my only real question is why the hell did I wait so long? She’s that girl
  • MAC Powder Kiss Liquid Lipstick x2
    • Got A Callback
      • The most unique shade in my collection. Reads kinda soft grunge or soft goth on me, depending on what else I'm wearing.
      • These lipsticks aren't nearly as longwearing as advertised, but they wear down nicely and are fairly easy to touch up when needed, so I've ended up enjoying the formula anyway
    • Make Love To The Camera
      • This has become a go-to. I was about to buy a certain product Instagram was really pushing on me, but I realized hey… I basically have it already. Absolutely amazing color
      • I used this for my wedding on top of…
  • Maybelline Superstay Ink Crayon, Check Yourself
    • Great on its own and under other colors. Perfect cool winter red, great for deep/dark as well
  • Maybelline Superstay Vinyl Ink, Unrivaled
    • I just keep buying the same color family in different finishes lmaoooo. I know what I like. This is the actual MAC D for Danger dupe in my roster, at least on my face. Only differences: this one may lean ever so slightly more purple, and obviously the shiny finish. This formula is pretty amazing though. Almost too good, even
  • NYX Butter Gloss x3
    • Apple Crisp
    • Cranberry Pie
      • I’m actually happy lip glosses are back in style, because these two colors are lovely
    • Crème Brûlée
      • Amazing at toning down lip colors
  • NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner x2
    • Cherry Skies
    • Sao Paulo
      • I’m a big fan of these pencils
  • Rare Beauty Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick, Ascend
    • Formula is similar to the MAC Powder Kiss liquid lipstick, but slightly thinner, so it’s easier to apply and build. but it also feels a bit less hydrating. I think I slightly prefer this formula (definitely prefer the applicator and price point), but MAC has the superior color selection IMO.
    • I do love this shade; on me it’s a medium-bright parrot pink that is surprisingly versatile
  • Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick x2
    • Heartbreaker
      • This formula! The color by itself is maybe a tad bright on me, but if I wear it with something like MAC D for Danger as an ombré, it works beautifully. That combo is my go-to Barbie lip
    • Vampire Love
      • Not as intense as it looks in the tube. On me it’s a very wearable cranberry color that can be sheered out or built up. I’ve worn it way more often than I expected
  • Sephora Cream Lip Stain x3
    • Black Cherry
      • Originally wanted this for wedding lipstick, but it wasn’t what I was going for. Worked great for snake-inspired performance makeup though! And I quite like it for weekend wear with the right outfit and face
    • Blackberry Sorbet
      • Had this color before, used it up, originally decided not to repurchase but ended up missing it
    • Marvelous Mauve
      • A surprisingly great neutral-ish color on me. It’s probably as close as I can get to those greige-y colors that were popular a few years back, despite being in a different color family. On my second… tube? Is that right for these lol? I’m going with it
    • Red Velvet
      • On my third tube. It’s my perfect true red
  • Sephora Lip Last Matte Lipstick, Garnet
    • Ah goddammit, I have a type, and it is femme fatale burgundy. Lmao. I'm also not super sure about this one; I find it to be one of the fussier formulas. May try to pan it and see how I feel

NAIL POLISH (starting mostly over bc a lot of my polishes were oooooooold and I only just got back into painting my nails)

  • Essie nail color, Angora Cardi
    • Great color but might clash with half of my wardrobe?
  • Olive & June Nail Polish x4
    • CCT
    • CV
    • OMG
  • OPI Nail Polish x2
    • Cajun Shrimp
      • Received as a gift
    • I’m Not Really A Waitress
      • This is classic
  • Orly Nail Lacquer, Rage
