Thoughts: I remember buying the graphic novels because I thought that the covers looked pretty. But man the story and the characters were so boring. I only went so far into reading the first three volumes because I had bought the first three volumes. The characters are so bland and boring. The thing I hate most about it is the religion that they follow which is pretty much like 'if you have hope then all your problems will be solved'. This is such a cheats way of using the deus ex machina trope which is to magically save your characters after you've gotten them so far into a problem that there couldn't possibly be saved. But oh look at that, they were magically saved because they had hope. And that exactly what happens in the story. One of the characters gets betrayed and thrown out underwater and you'd think that would be the end? but no there just so happens to be an underwater suit that she uses to save herself and rescue her sister from the antagonist. I cannot roll my eyes more at this.
