FAVORITE 2022 RELEASES
at first i tried to do a thread on Twitter posting videos with the title tracks and side tracks but honestly, i truly do not have time nor energy to keep going so what better option than a simple list, i embed the yt links of the official mvs/side tracks so you guys can give them a listen.
side note: i count singles as title tracks

JANUARY:
JANUARY (b-sides):
january commentary:
< while some of the above title tracks weren't completely wow to me, they're pretty enjoyable. i find myself listening to dessert the most from time to time, my mutuals/friends know how much of a dance/disco-pop retro lover i am and this song is exactly my type of music, the pulsing guitar is so... groovy and it's so catchy. please do give it a listen >
< polaroid love is such a cute and lovely little song, no wonder it went viral >
< PLEASE. PLEASE. i beg everyone reading this to give onlyoneof a chance and listen to their discography, full of hits after hits. they're my experimental r&b synth-pop with dreamy wocals kings. while skinz did fall short to me in comparison to libido (honestly how do you come back after that masterpiece?), they went all out with suit dance and ultimate bliss, these tracks are SO smooth and so... sexy, i love how some of the members incorporate airy vocals to the songs, it highlights the dreamy and kind of lull atmosphere. my kings. truly my kings >
< also please give a listen to changmin's alien, if you're a space music lover, you'll love this one >
FEBRUARY:
FEBRUARY (b-sides):
february commentary:
< free and love best side track from apink's album. now that's a SONG >
< to the few boys24 mutuals i have. we've been seeing more of these boys appear from debuted groups. imagine the shock i had when i saw hocheol (whose stage name is ryujei) debuted in jwiiver!!! ngl, almost cried. their debut mini album is cute, i REALLY liked their double titles >
< what other groups would give to have a song like run2u in their discography, oh what they'd give >
MARCH:
MARCH (b-sides):
march commentary:
< i did say on twitter that i would delete my 2022 thread and instead make this list. later i thought about making another thread with side tracks that pleasantly surprised me this year, i'm still thinking about it to be honest, just don't have enough time. one of the side tracks that truly blew me away this year was bamboleo by rv. i love you my wham-inspired 80 disco songs queens. though i may say that feel my rhythm felt weak as a title track for me >
< when i tell you i cried a lot when nu'est announced their disbandment. it's hard going through this as a fan when you've been a fan since their debut like me, it feels bittersweet, fuck you hybe, fuck you. anyway, nu'est (d-crunch too) thank you for so much and sorry for so little >
