thirty things i want to do before turning thirty

• read through the Bible in a year
• live abroad for at least a year
• stargaze on a beach
• read at least 60 books
• get in the habit of exercising regularly
• hold a baby
• learn basic French in my car
• learn how to ride a bike
• learn how to use my DSLR
• attempt surfing
• ski or snowboard in Tahoe
• run a 5k
• go on another missions trip
• sell/give away/stop buying things with no utility
• camp out in Yosemite
• go on a cross-country American road trip
• go on a backpacking trip in a foreign country
• organize a regular homeless ministry
• give a homeless person a hand up, not just a hand out
• sleep under the stars
• get a piece of writing published
• learn how to use a sewing machine
• sew an article of clothing that i would actually wear
• sponsor a child
• visit that child
• work at a coffee shop or bakery
• give my parents an entire paycheck
• learn guitar
• write out my testimony
• write a letter to my dad
