• Modern college AU!
• Eliza was adopted, me and Angelica were biological sisters. Angelica was the eldest and I was the youngest.
• I remember getting along really well with the Hamilsquad, even after Alex cheated on Eliza with Maria.
• The friend group was rocks for awhile after that. We all sort of felt like we had to pick sides even though we didn't want to. The boys generally gravitated towards Alex, except Laf, who spent more time with us girls.
• It took a couple months for things to relax again. Eliza was the one who really took initiative and make sure everyone knew that things were ok between her and Alex.
• After that I know Alex got with a guy, but I don't remember if it was John, Thomas, or someone else.
• I had a really big crush on Maria. We fooled around a bit, mostly at parties when we were both tipsy, but nothing ever came of it. I asked her out a few times but eventually she told me she didn't really like girls in that way. It was more just a sexual thing for her. It sucked for awhile but we were still friends.
• I worked at a cafe on campus. I got free lunch there and my favorite thing to order was a chai latte with vanilla and a croissant. Sometimes a chocolate croissant if I was feeling dangerous.
• I got anxious pretty easily but I was seeing a therapist on-and-off since I was a kid so I had a pretty good handle on it.
• I loved vintage clothes and mostly shopped at thrift stores.
• Thomas and James were kind of together for a little while? Thomas was still deep in the closet and did not want anyone finding out. He would chew James out whenever he did anything even close to pda. I think it got pretty toxic, and James got fed up and left him. Thomas kind of joined the friend group after that and we helped him come to terms with his sexuality. I don't know if he and James ever got back together.
• Angelica was such a badass. She was really close with Alex and I think she had feelings for him, but she never would've hurt Eliza like that. She dropped his ass faster than any of us when she found out he cheated. Even after Eliza had healed and we were all going back to normal, she never connected with Alex in the same way.
• She also went to a lot of political rallies and protests and the likes. She brought as many of us with her as possible whenever she did. I mostly joined her in Black Lives Matter rallies and feminist marches.
• I think my first year in college was Angelica's last year in college, if that makes sense. She and Alex both majored in political science. Eliza majored in childhood education I think, and I was an art major.
• Washington was a professor that Alex really bonded with.
