★General memories
- My name was really Selene but I didn't really resonate with it. I had nothing against it, some people I knew from my childhood still called me that and it was fine, but I really preferred to go by Moon! Everyone on Alola called me Moon and so did my mom!
- I was chill with any pronouns tbh. My mom and I used they/them pronouns but like, most people just used he/him or she/her depending on how I was presenting.
- I had really good confidence and self esteem, I always felt cute af when I left the house, no matter how I was presenting. Even though I was freckin short.
- Me and the squad (Hau and Lillie) were definitely kids, I think like early middle school at the oldest? We were super freakin close!! We were partners in everything.
- I doodled on everything. All the time. No surface was safe from my pens. Even my skin. I'd come home with my whole arms and legs covered in ink. My mom would just kind of sigh and point me in the direction of the shower.
- I went to like a "regular" school until I was old enough to start learning to be a Pokemon trainer! Where I lived before that basically just meant taking different classes. I think that was the main reason me and mom moved to Alola, so I could train and practice and get to know Pokemon in real life!!! Instead of just in classroom books and stuff.
- I don't really remember a lot about my dad. I'm pretty sure he was a Pokemon trainer too, and was gone a lot, doing a lot of field work and research. Whenever he came home it would be with a few new kinds of Pokemon, and he would let me play with them to get them used to people because he knew I was gentle and good with them!! His favorite Pokemon was Rockruff. It was always a celebration when he came home.
- The only Pokemon I'm certain I had in my team are Rowlet and Leafeon!
- Professor Kukui was like a father figure to me!! When my dad was away he really filled in for him. Guzma was like, the grumpy grandpa figure. He got stuck babysitting us kids a lot and always complained, even though I think he secretly liked it. He was kind of a bad influence, getting us to say things and do things that weren’t harmful or too bad, but enough to stress Professor Kukui out. It was lots of fun!
