Nam Shin is the 3rd generation heir of a millionaire group, PK. But he lost his father when he was young and was brutally estranged from his mother. Nam Shin grew up living with his grandfather and Ji Young Hoon, his secretary and friend.21 years after the separation, Nam Shin got into trouble and managed to find a way to find his mother again. Desperate, he traveled to the Czech Republic. It turns out that, because he got involved with the dangerous Seo Jong Gil before leaving the country, a greedy man who was looking for all the company's rights, Nam Shin ended up suffering an unexpected accident and fell into a deep coma. Seconds before the incident, Nam Shin found Nam Shin III, a robot just like him. Dr. Oh, Nam Shin's mother and an expert in artificial intelligence, had built robots identical to her son because she missed the boy. The three versions followed Nam Shin's growth. To protect her son's place in the PK group, Dr. Oh had Nam Shin III replace Nam Shin in the company's management, and in secret. In the meantime, Kang So Bong becomes his bodyguard. Would it be possible to accompany an android robot living with human beings without being noticed?

First, I wanted to leave here in writing that I clapped for Seo Kang Joon's performance. It was his first time playing two roles in one, but he sure didn't let anyone down. The characters didn't need to identify themselves for me to find out who Nam Shin or Nam Shin3 was. The expression, the look, the smile, the gestures, everything was different and that was thanks to Seo Kang Joon's brilliant performance. What is humanity? What does it mean to be a human being? What sets us apart from machines? Why do we lie? These are all questions that the drama has explored magnificently well. In Are You Human Too? I accompanied an android robot teaching human beings about humanity. I saw a robot educating about compassion, forgiveness, respect, loyalty. Our robot didn't realize it, but he taught much more than he learned. The drama started with the heartbreak of a mother who is an expert in AI (artificial intelligence). Missing her son and to make up for his lack, she created the Nam Shin robot in its three versions. In the android Nam Shin, she deposited everything that reminded her of her human son. He should always be smiling and comforting others. Also, the human Nam Shin detested lies, so she placed a lie detector in the android's hand (it blinked when the person was lying). Nam Shin3, a robot who always thinks of others first, contrasted with the dark and perverse side of human nature and made us reflect on what it means to be human, the true meaning of the expression humanity. Are You Human Too is far from a cliché drama, far from it. The moral of the story wasn't even comparing humans and robots. It just showed that humans, although imperfect, must strive to improve and sometimes humbly learn. Anyway, the progress of the script is uniform and incredible, working between reality and fiction. The plot demonstrated situations that distanced us from the machines or brought us closer to them, honestly, I found this wonderful. A being with artificial intelligence gradually developed feelings towards humans, sincerity and emotions. More than that, in the middle of that conglomerate of metals, he metaphorically built a heart. This drama is recommended for people who like deep messages about humanity and love, with three-dimensional villains and a more than endearing character. Finally, prepare your tissues because you will cry a lot at the end of the drama, with the cuteness and genuineness of the robot.
