Lee Ahn is a boy who has the incredible power to sense other people's secrets with just a simple touch. Yoon Jae In is a girl capable of anything to hide a traumatic secret. What will happen when their worlds collide? A romantic thriller about how these two teenagers love, heal and support each other through events big and small. Psychometry is a word of Greek origin that means: Psycho (soul) + Metron (measure), that is, the ability to measure, evaluate and interpret the soul or memory of a person or an object. In the drama, it is activated through Lee Ahn's touch, which is psychometric. His skill is really interesting, but very undeveloped. He 'wins' it after suffering a very traumatic accident and constantly uses it in a childish, unpretentious way, without any control over it, needing to evolve it if he wants to discover some mysteries involving the past of people he wants to protect and help. Lee Ahn grows up alongside his savior, Kang Sung Mo, whom he calls 'hyung' (older brother). Kang Sung Mo has a troubled and secret past, and signs of alexithymia (absence or difficulty feeling emotions, feelings and physical sensations). He's the only person Lee Ahn can't read memories of through physical contact. To help him develop his psychometry, Kang Sung Mo approaches him with Yoon Jae In, the only person he is sure he will be able to help Lee Ahn in this endeavor.
He is Psychometric delighted me and left me in shock, trapped in the story from beginning to end. But because the plot is really well crafted and the characters and personalities are perfectly molded, just the way I like it. The character he assumes, sorry, but it's not for everyone, no... I'm really amazed! The villain gives that feeling of hatred that you hope to get screwed and in the worst possible way. The story holds you and is absurdly capable of making you enter the mind of EACH CHARACTER. Not to mention the various shivers, the oscillation of feelings that you have watching each of the scenes, the adrenaline and even the hint of tachycardia in some scenes. The OST is wonderful, very well chosen. The lives of all the characters are extremely remarkable. The way everything connects without leaving any ends untied, plus that hint of comedy, the special power of our protagonist, who is not perfect at all and needs to be perfected at all times, the scenes of fight, companionship, friendship, of EMPATHY, plus the concepts of alexithymia and psychometry being explored at all times... the novel, the criticism behind a whole police theme - which is a problem in South Korea - anyway... the sum of all these factors is what makes of this story, a MEGA K-DRAMA, without any exaggeration, here. (Jinyoung, in addition to being a good singer, you are an excellent actor!!!) Even sad about the end of some secondary characters, I managed to understand why and I didn't think there was, at any point, a flaw in the script or an exaggerated ending. Absolutely EVERYTHING was well thought out, developed and explained. For those who like to get into character and feel like they're in his shoes – like me – you'll love this drama. All of this, not to mention the ups and downs of the characters, the twists and turns of the whole drama, the direction, which make the story light and heavy, tense and soft, calm and full of adrenaline, all at the same time! I laughed, I cried, I told characters to be taken in the middle of the ass, but I also loved characters that maybe I shouldn't love, I shipped a strong couple, but I survived. For these and other reasons, I highly recommend!
