Shim Cheong is a mermaid who follows her first love, the son of a nobleman from the Joseon Dynasty to the present day. And in the present day, he's Joon Jae, a charming con man who uses his conjuring tricks to get what he wants. The two meet when Shim Cheong invades Joon Jae's hotel room causing a lot of confusion. Joon Jae ends up creating interest when he discovers that Shim Cheong has a bracelet that is worth a lot of money so he starts to help her. During the trip Joon Jae is persecuted, and due to the circumstances Shim Cheong decides to leave him and erases his memory with a kiss. But they meet again in Seoul and Joon Jae gives shelter to Shim Cheong, even though he doesn't remember her. With that, many things happen, and that bracelet that until then only had monetary value, may be the key for them to discover that in the past they were already connected.

It's definitely one of the few stories I've seen with this mermaid theme, and approached in such a perfect, subtle and charming way from start to finish. The first scenes of interaction between the two in the modern world are hilarious, because Shim Cheong doesn't even know the basics of how to live with humans and ends up acting and doing things as peculiarly as possible, which creates many funny and cute scenes. Another k-drama in which I fall in love with the lead actor, Lee Minho, and start following his work.
