Jang Dan Bi is a young student who has problems with math and difficulties studying and thus considers herself useless. On the day of taking the entrance exam, Dan Bi was unable to deal with the pressures, mainly due to the fact that her whole life would be projected from that test, and she decided to run away. After hurriedly getting off the bus, she ended up leaving her umbrella behind and it was raining heavily that day. Aimless, and wishing to disappear, Dan Bi realized that she could walk into a puddle of water and, without thinking twice, did so. When Dan Bi entered the pool, she was transported to the Joseon period, more precisely to the era of King Sejong, at the time when a ritual for rain was being performed, as Joseon was facing a terrible drought. Dan Bi appeared in the middle of the ritual, causing an uproar among those present. One of the elders started calling her the Rain Nymph, sent from the heavens to save Joseon from the water crisis. Frightened, Dan Bi managed to flee the scene, but was eventually found by King Lee Do. The King ended up admiring himself for the things she brought with her and became curious about her affairs. After some events, Dan Bi ended up becoming useful to the King and started to teach him what little she knew about the subjects she learned in school, mainly about mathematics. Teaching the King, Dan Bi ended up learning several subjects that he had difficulties with before and ended up falling in love with him. But, problems will start to appear and their relationship may have an uncertain future.

Splash Splash LOVE is a light, simple, relaxed and wonderful drama. Anyone who likes historical dramas and hasn't seen this one yet, shouldn't waste any more time and watch it! In addition, the plot brings useful information about the history of South Korea. It's short and develops very quickly. When it ended I was left with a feeling of “I need more episodes”. The story also brings some comic scenes of the King trying to deal with the technology of the future. At first, Dan Bi ended up being identified as a eunuch for using the term high school (the pronunciation is similar in Korean) and, therefore, managed to remain in the palace. This brought some unexpected and relaxed situations. Yoon Doo Joon is amazing in this Web-Drama along with Kim Seul Gi. The two got very comfortable with each other and the romance is just too beautiful. Unmissable and well built. I wish I could see them together more often. I highly recommend Splash Splash LOVE. I was quite surprised, I didn't think I would fall in love with the story so much and I regretted not having watched it sooner. It doesn't bring many surprises, but it develops very well and I was very enchanted by the characters, especially by the protagonists. Still, I had fun, got emotional and learned a little about the history of our South Korea.
