Do Min Ik is a competent and lucid man who works as an executive in a large telecommunications company. This smart guy not only recognizes people he's only met once, but he also has a keen eye for reading others' thoughts, until he's diagnosed with face blindness. Gal Hee, Min Ik's loyal secretary, is a slovenly and somewhat careless woman who worked for Min Ik with all her dedication. She appears to be laid back, but hides her tough side. After losing his eyesight, Do Min Ik begins to find his true identity and, in the process, learns to respect the people around him, including Jung Gal Hee. On the day she is unexpectedly fired, she witnesses Min Ik murdering someone and becomes his right-hand man. Min Ik, who suffers from face blindness, mistakes Gal Hee for Veronica Park, a charming and influential figure in the film industry, and falls in love with her. Gal Hee begins to pretend that she is Veronica, and as time passes, even she herself becomes confused about who she really is. But Veronica discovers Gal Hee's double life and puts an end to it. Will the intertwined relationships and feelings unravel in the end?

From the first episodes, The Secret Life Of My Secretary was nothing more than a cliché for me, but at a certain point in the plot things started to get more interesting and I became much, much more involved in the story. It's not a different drama, it doesn't have much depth as I like it, but I guarantee that if you start the drama without expecting more than a silly cliché, you can still have a lot of fun. The Secret Life of My Secretary doesn't have an extraordinary script, it doesn't have bombastic plot twists and it's completely full of the clichés present in South Korean romantic comedies. What if I'm complaining? No way. The script may even be more of the same, have some holes and absurd things, but precisely because of the combination of all this, well done of course, is that the drama is a delight to follow. The drama begins by presenting one of the most used clichés in the last two years in this dramaland, which is the romance between a secretary and a boss, even more so if the boss is a sucker who will gradually soften with the sweet secretary. However, the plot involves the characters in unusual situations that not only caught my attention, but also made me fall in love with the drama all of a sudden. No, the drama is not just in the novel. There are some plots involving the company, corruption, pursuit of power and money. There are some small suspense, but all very light, after all it is a romantic comedy. However, these more serious plots were interesting and didn't take up too much time with unnecessary scenes. It just makes me angry, as always, with those cliché guys who want to take over the presidency of the company, accuse the good guy for banal reasons and even his illness and so on. Anyway, The Secret Life Of My Secretary is a cute, fluffy drama with healthy clichés to see when life asks for something sweet.
