• Ever notice how when youre standing right next to something, it always seems really big, and you know, important? But when you get enough distance, that same thing can suddenly feel tiny, maybe even insignificant. Until youre standing so far away you have to really strain just to be able to see them. And new experiences are always Technicolor, larger than life. Going to a place you’ve never been before makes you re- examine everything.
• Maybe life is like a cross country road trip. You can get so focused on the enormity of the mission ahead, staring straight out of the expansive road as you fail to notice the stuff youre passing by right at that moment.
• There’s nothing wrong with a little electricity, just as long as you don’t get shocked.
• Sometimes we want something so bad, we practically write the script on how it should go, even though we know better. Theres no such thing as the perfect family; there are always lumps. But why do the lumps have to be bad? Maybe instead of trying so hard to create the ideal, we should embrace the not so perfect. Because sometimes it’s the imperfections that make the memories you really cherish.
• Theres no guarnantee that you and your friends will go your own separate ways someday. So theres no sense in worrying about it. For now, act like your friendship is forever, and it might turn out that way.
• Youre supposed to tell people how you feel or else nobody knows how you feel
• Whats life without taking chances?
• Sometimes your family can make you really mad or feel bad and make it hard to see the good things in them. But then one day theyre gone and all you have left are the memories and you see all those good things in a new light and you wish that you had pointed them out a little more often along the way.

Even whats imperfect will be perfect.

• {about knowing whos “the one”} you cant know those types of things. You can only trust what you feel in your heart and take a blind leap of faith. that’s what lifes about. You know, we’re not put on this earth to live perfect lives, where we never get hurt or we never make mistakes. We’re put here to hurl ourselves headfirst into this crazy world, and the bruises and scrapes we get along the way, they just mean youre living life.
