• overburdened kids / teens / young adults
• casualties of a greater narrative arc
• ostracized for having unusual belief systems
• runs exclusively on spite
• dependency on an idealized figure
• insightful in ways people don't predict / hidden layers
• perseverance, perseverance, perseverance
• stepford smiling / sarcastic smiling
• the Bad Influence Friend
• memory! trauma!
