• working at an awful bike shop. the only good things that resulted from that were:

- demoing a spot 29er (SS) which consequently resulted in me wanting to get better at mountain biking - getting dznuts chamois cream for $11. - realizing how advertising and networking can really steer people in the wrong direction. you're all assholes. and not everyone fits in your clique, so fuck you

• road bikes, a lot, obviously
• going to sweet action almost every night
• entered the modern world of technology and got a google mytouch phone
• epic start of summer ride = denver>golden gate canyon>2 flat tires>blackhawk/central city>back in through 119>2 flat tires>hitched ride>denver
• raced short track and had a blast

- got 8th in my first race - ate pizza with john and marshall

• got my wisdom teeth out (eventful week)

- stayed at my parent's house (being taken care of is rad sometimes) - ate so much ice cream - john made me shakes every night after he got off work - vicodin is awful

• BOUGHT MY SCOOTER (honda passport! i love you!)

- impromptu trip to louiseville at 10pm - tied it into peter's truck

• hung out with abby to help her prepare for south korea
• scooter dates! passport and mb5 dominating the roads
• road bikes with clint
• epic ~105mile ride with merilee.. damn hwy 119 again, i will never ride you again!
• gi joe fest
• drinking pbr tallboys on rayne's roof
• barbeque with chrisfeld and john
• working in chrisfeld's mom's office
• SAN FRANCISCO ROAD TRIP!

- drove via hwy 50...rural nevada - slept in the car, john and i smashed by bikes and luggage - reached truckee at 7:30am with nothing more but the desire for omelets! - nice ride in truckee - reached SF and stayed with mattmatt - to compress: so much good food, coffee, snacks, cider, champagne, john's b-day, fourth of july, amaaazing!

• started training for mtb season...yes, i am going to race mountain bikes
• started doing yoga again at corepower
• and another epic ride with john. denver>lookout>idaho springs>squaw pass>hitched a ride down the descent because we had no clothing>evergreen>backside of lookout>denver (110ish miles)
• a relaxing, lovely afternoon smoking hookah with maya
• being genuinely scared for my survival on top of s. table mountain...scariest night of my life
• hanging out with my brother helping him build his bike
• choking on a sour patch kid and having to get the heimlich
• having a breakfast date and going to court with rayne
• went hiking at mt. sniktau with john-definitely excited to hike more.

it's been a damn good summer! can't wait for some more!
