I placed all the items from my room that are dearest to me into a small, 12x12x12 box. This is the list of those items, in alphabetical order.

  • The Bachelor by Patrick Wolf.
    • Not my favourite album of his, but its still very close to my heart. Also commemorates my first live show and my favourite, currently active musician.
  • The Complete Illustrated Lewis Carroll Wordsworth Editions.
    • Received this for my 16th birthday. Haven't put it down since. (I've been an Alice fan since I was in 4th grade, though.)
  • Greatest Hits by Simon and Garfunkle.
  • The Great Escape by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.
    • One of my first books and the one I've had with me the longest.
  • Green and grey striped ski hat.
    • Another gift from last Christmas. Felt nice to finally have a hat that suited me. Felt rather elf-like in it, and I resembled my father from his younger days, too.
  • Hand-made notebook.
  • Hounds of Love by Kate Bush.
    • My favourite album.
  • I Spy Chrismas: A Book of Picture Riddles photographs by Walter Wick and riddles by Jean Marzollo.
    • I've had this for as long as I can remember.
  • The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
  • Magnification visor I received last Christmas.
  • Med sut i eyrum vit spilum endalaust by Sigur Rós.
  • Mellon Collie and the Infinte Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins.
    • My first album. Both CDs and the lyrics book are still intact. I loved this album to death.
  • The Merriam-Webster Dictionary with hand-made cover.
  • The Mill On The Floss by George Eliot.
    • Signet Classic paper-back version. My favourite book.
  • My Autobiography by Charles Chaplin.
    • Its filled with my notes from my acting class days. It reminds me to keep my eyes clear to let the stars shine in.
  • Print from "The Kid".
    • Purchased by Julie for me in Anaheim. The moment was soured by her father, who made the conjecture that Chaplin hated children. But Julie's eyes told me that she was sorry for her father's cruel behaviour and that she loved me. Reminds me to not let the bad over-shadow the good.
  • Sensual World by Kate Bush.
  • Shaking The Tree by Peter Gabriel.
    • A collection of virtually all of my favourite Peter Gabriel songs which were so important to me when I was in highschool.
  • Sketch book from the Spring of 2008. Its filled with some of my most beautiful and life-defining drawings done in full colour.
  • Studio Ghibli Movie Collection. DVD set containing:
    • Grave of the Fireflies
    • Kiki's Delivery Service
    • Laputa: Castle In The Sky
    • My Neighbor Totoro
    • Porco Rosso
    • Princess Mononoke
    • Spirited Away (!!!)
  • Stuffed Animals
    • Bunny, the yellow bunny with multi-coloured paw prints.
    • Chuck, the beaver/squirrel/chipmunk. Chuck's best-friend.
    • Froggy. A little, green frog with a confident air to him.
    • Marshmellow. The panda bear with an air of quiet wisdom to him. Best friend of me.
    • Monkey. A monkey with fuzzy fur and a silly smirk spread across his face. Best friend of Froggy.
    • Patrick. A handsome giraffe who is rather self-conscious about the fact that he more closely resembles a spotted horse than a giraffe. He has a sapphire ribbon tied around his neck that he received as a gift from Fatima.
  • "Ticonderoga" pencils. They really are "The World's Best Pencil".
  • Wayside School Is Falling Down by Louis Sachar.
    • One of my favourite children's books. I make sure to read it at least once a year to test whither I've gotten too old or not.
  • White, button-up shirt I wore to Anaheim on the first day I met Julie, in person. I wore it on and off over the next few days and received some smudges of paint on it here and there during our painting session on the balcony. I'll never throw it away.
  • Winsor & Newtown watercolour set I received as a birthday gift from Crysta last year. Means so much to me.
  • Yellow 16GB Ipod.
