Anywhere that I feel is worthy of my esteem and gives me enough bang (a reliable label) for the buck. Unfortunately I am enrolled to attend Temple University, which I do not feel meets my qualifications but was sensible for a middle class white girl like myself. I like liberal arts colleges, privatized colleges and colleges with campuses that look and feel as good as the research and work that is done within them. And because I'm a snob, Harvard Law... that would be so cool.
Yes, absolutely. I think the costume, language, colors, tribal music, weather in Africa is absolutely stunning but I wouldn't albeit if for a missions trip there--- the disease, the poverty, would all be very ailing to me as I'd want to appreciate the place but also alleviate the people, both of which could not be objectively obtained. I feel similarly towards India. The garb, the music--- all so beautiful, but I'm not comfortable with the poverty. As well as in the Muslim lands, actually--- but for reason of war, of course. Again, wonderful culture, just pitted against such sad undertones.
I do! I like that it's instant, that you can hang them up or snap them in an album or photo book. I hate that we don't develop our modern film. Also, everything looks good as a polaroid. There's something about lacking finer detail that helps us disclose a sense of beauty in things, and coloration, a feel of past, is so nice in a world that makes such haste of progressive technology.
Wasn't it called AS TOLD BY GINGER? Was that the one with the opening theme about how the grass was always greener on the other side? If so, I watched it all the time, though I have little remembrance of what the show entailed.
Not really, no. I tend to find people who don't abstain from vulgar language either ignorant, immoral or just plain stupid. And I can't have that in my circle.
I don't put lyrics as a status very often because a) it is stupid and b) I don't want to deal with asinine comments asking about the lyrics.
I use Google Chrome for my daily browsing and tasks but also have Firefox so I can visit the Sims store and access my Temple applications, which are only supported by Firefox and Internet Explorer (gags.)
Cry, whine or write.
Er, probably images from my camera but I don't quite remember honestly.
I don't really have any
that have my back. I have a boyfriend. I hope he has my back.I think girls are much more caught up in observances. So they take heed in every word that is said and they are always searching. If you search, you'll find. Boys are just very content with whatever amount they know and don't go out of their way to notice anything more than what is shown.
It's an exaggeration, I think. I mean, no you're not the only one entitled to those feelings and no you are not the only one who feels passionately about a music group--- but personally, I don't think I'd go to the ends of the Earth for a performance. If it meant meeting Ezra, yes I'd take some desperate measures--- but not to hear music, to meet an amazing man!
I think it's a waste and it doesn't even have that much of a stage effect that will be payoff. How can you say it's worth it?
I probably need some inspiration.
Maybe somewhere in the mind but you don't need to go to a physical destination.
Probably Indie pop--- if I had genuine talent like the question says, then yes I would be successful. But I don't have genuine talent so I suppose nope.
I'm really not familiar with constellations. I wish I were. When I was young I used to love to go to the planetarium. We went to one that was in the Catskills often. But I've forgotten all that I learned when I was young.
Probably not--- I am not very good with animals.
I don't think it's "necessary" but it certainly is a good idea. I think there are ways to get to know someone's habits and lifestyle just from spending a lot of time around them, something I'm sure a couple who intended to marry would do. When you know, you know. But certainly living with someone will give you extra insight as to their lifestyle.
Good night's sleep? Ha.
I hardly ever shampoo my hair because I don't think it's good for it so I always wash my body first. When I do wash my hair, I spend more time on it than I would lathering my body.
No, I like to figure it out on my own. That's the fun part about it, really. Unless I need to quickly know how to use a certain feature and I have absolutely no clue, in which case I would use a manual.
I do. I don't understand it because animals of course are nice to save and protect but are lesser than humans and humans should be cared for and safeguarded firstly. When we put into perspective how many children are in need, why would I donate to an animal shelter instead? Our kind first. It says something about the simple mind of someone who feels more of a sympathy towards the animals--- I think it's really strange.
I love both Obsessed and Intervention. Human beings are so interesting, especially when their psyches or bodies are stretched to such confining limits as is showcased on the show. I find it both intriguing and entertaining.
Lolita, Looking for Alaska, Man's Search for Meaning, The Great Gatsby, The Bell Jar, Othello, The Catcher in the Rye, Anne Frank's Diary, Harry Potter series, & Ethan Frome.
Or ones I absolutely refuse to read: 50 Shades of Grey, Twilight, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Speak, Blink and the Road From Coorain.
Tom Buchanan is one of my favorite characters (The Great Gatsby) and is always harped on as a villain--- he was meant to be portrayed as one! But I love his firmness and I love his arrogance and I love his anti-feminine and his ignorant escapades! When you compare him to the folly and selfishness of Daisy, the obsession of Gatsby, the awkwardness of Nick, the cheat of Jordan, the scorn of Wolfsheim, the stupidity of Wilson (though he be also loveable), the flamboyance of Myrtle--- I mean, Tom's a pretty strong fellow. I like him. I like him tenfold from his wife.
Alaska Young from Looking for Alaska because she is such an icon and so mysterious, wonderful, in all the ways you want a teenaged girl to be--- and Miles really does make you fall in love with her, before and after death.
Severus Snape, one of the most romantic and potent characters in the history of story books. I mean there are so many spectacular characters in the Harry Potter series, among them Neville, Luna, Hermione, Ron, Harry and Hagrid. But Snape is such an interesting, manifold character and I couldn't believe how well J.K. Rowling played us in our interpretation of him. Spectacular.
Humbert Humbert--- his words are scornful reminders of the beauty of sin and it's sexy; it's sexy to be a pedophile if you're as adoxographic and euphemistic as Humbert is (from Lolita.)
Iago from Othello for being the most base of all tragic villains.
I hate Daisy from the Great Gatsby because I really believe she is the true evil in the entire book--- a player of folly, ignorance, outward appearance! All-around scornful distasteful fiend who comes off so delicate.
&&&& any one besides Alice from the Twilight Series, especially Edward & Bella, for being such foolish characters.
&&&&&&&&&&&& I hateeeeeeeeeeee Bellatrix (but love her) for what she did to Dobby.
