I have a deep, dark, super secret love of making lists. So why not hang out on a site where pretty much all you do is make lists? Also, I guess I get bored often. Hm.

  • Bead Holding Tweezers
    • ...Tweezers that hold beads. Pretty self explanatory.
  • Foerster-Ballenger Forceps
    • A surgical clamp with a round eyelet. It is commonly used in body piercing, particularly for tongue piercings.
  • Kelly Forceps
    • Kelly forceps are a type of hemostat usually made of stainless steel. They resemble a pair of scissors with the blade replaced by a blunted grip. Used to hold small objects.
  • Needle
    • The actual needle used to pierce the skin. Available in a variety of gauges and shapes depending on the type of piercing being performed, although straight needles are most commonly used.
  • Pennington Forceps
    • A Pennington clamp, also known as a DCuval clamp, is a surgical clamp with a triangular eyelet. It is commonly used in body piercing to hold the skin in place, and guide the needle through it. It is named after David Geoffrey Pennington, an Australian Surgeon who is a pioneer of microsurgeries.
  • Reverse Pennington Forceps
    • A Pennington Clamp with the triagular eyelet reversed (Pennington clamp has the point of the triangle at the bottom, pointing towards the handle with straight side facing outward. Reverse Pennington has the point facing outward with straight side of triangle facing the handles.)
  • Ring Closing Pliers
    • Specially designed stainless steel pliers that have an indentation at both tips to securely grab any round captive ring and bend it closed without scratching the jewelry.
  • Ring Opening Pliers
    • Use these ring openers to change captive bead ring jewelry. The ring opener acts as a backwards pliers, when the handle is squeezed the tips expand allowing one to open the ring just enough to remove the bead with ease.
  • Septum Forceps
    • Designed especially for piercing the septum differ from regular forceps in that they have short tubes where normal forceps would have loops. These tubes allow access to the septum without holding back the nose, making the whole piercing process far easier.
