12/10 — i love you

• this was the day i think i did your classic move of falling over, only, i was sitting on the toilet when you decided to say you love me. what a grand way to put that out there. but it’s because it was impromptu that it means even more to me. i had an idea of a set time and day in which i would tell you, but honestly, it was getting harder and harder to hold in those three words when i could already distinguish them from my feelings for you over time. you beat me to it, though. i really thought i was going to tell you i loved you first, but i guess you can have this one. what more, you must have really wanted me to die by telling me i’m your first love. i am truly honored and lucky — i mean it. i wish to not only be your first love, but your last, as well. i’ll do my best not to disappoint you because i know it’s what you deserve and because i love you all the more and just the same.
