 
   
  
    - 1/1 - started the new year with a 3-day migraine 
- 1/2 - started going to the gym with Sigi 
- 1/12 - registered for classes that aren't art classes for the first time in 8 years - Goodbye, Retail! (in a long, long time) 
- 1/? - Tour of Stars' Homes with my mom, Sigi, and David Genter 
- 1/18 - went to the Doo Dah parade with the Red Hat ladies 
- 1/20 - told my manager I don't want to be a supervisor anymore - no responsibility for the first time in 8 years!! 
- 2/6 - Borders broke my heart (you'd think I would have expected it) 
- 2/17 - First day as a bookseller - Started classes 
- 2/23 - Disneyland with my mom and a Tino visit for my mom's 52nd birthday 
- 2/28-3/1 - Went to Santa Barbara with my mom and Sigi 
- 3/2 - Helped my mom pack up her house to move out of it 
- 3/7-3/9 - Spent the weekend in Mammoth & did almost nothing but eat junk. It was nice. Then I got the worst migraine of my life. Not so nice. 
- 3/15 - Saw my mom's new house for the first time and helped unpack - Good: the house is her perfect dream home - Bad: it's in the valley 
- 3/29 - Red Hat outing to the Farmer's MArket 
- 4/5 - Visited Mikey and Sabrina and met Dain, went to Scripps Aquarium 
- 4/10-4/17 - Decided to apply for Culinary School and then decided to flake out all within a week 
- 4/20 - Sean left for a 3-week-long trip to Atlanta and Baltimore 
- 4/26 - Red Hats at my house for brunch and egg painting 
- 4/30 - My 29th birthday - went to California Adventure with my mom and Sigi 
- 5/14 - After 3 weeks of letting me dangle and wonder when they're going to call me, Trader Joe's finally sends me a "You're a loser" letter saying they don't even want to interview me, even after they said they would. All for a job that a monkey can do, but apparently that I'm not even qualified to interview for. I am going to be a loser at Borders forever. 
- 5/15 - Doctor calls me to tell me that at 29-years-old, my cholesterol is too high, and I need to cut back on dairy, wheat, red meat and fried things. This is shaping up to be quite a lovely year. 
- 5/24-5/25 - Trip to Solvang 
- 6/1 - Sigi turned 28 
- 6/11 - Saw The Tragically Hip at the Troubadour - sooooo good 
- 6/12 - Courtney's graduation party 
- 6/13 - Red Hat wine tasting 
- 6/20 - FOOS-a-paloosa 9 - Recession proof - I win three trophies 
- 6/21 - Bakersfield for Father's Day 
- 6/27-6/29 - Salinas and Carmel 
- 7/4 - Celebrated the country's independence by going to Courtney's house & having dinner, walking to Rosemead park, buying cotton candy and snow cones, then walking back to Court's, watching big and little fireworks, and Courtney told me she was pregnant (yay!) 
- 7/19 - Celebrated Daddy's birthday by going to Marsden's for breakfast, the Huntington, saw Harry Potter, and dinner at the Yardhouse 
- 7/22 - Registered for Drawing 2 & Cultural Anthropology. Let's hope I can finish both. 
- 7/31 - Motley Crue concert 
- 8/3 - Dinner at Grandpa's with David Genter 
- 8/10 - Went to a Dodger game (they lost) and Ruth's Chris (we won!) with Sean for our 7th year anniversary 
- 9/3 - Dinner at Grandpa's with Julie and George and Lilli Genter/Dwyer 
- 10/3 - Patrick & Nancy's wedding - Had a migraine until around 5, wedding was at 4, just went to reception 
- 10/15 - Bob Dylan concert 
- 11/10 - Grandpa Keenan died 
- 11/14 - Grandpa's funeral
