  • Public libraries. Books, music, movies, Internet fo' free. If you live in the county and can prove it.
  • The Theatre. Plays. Excitement. Adventure. Romance. Could possibly be the best date ever, besides your wedding. Hint Hint.
  • DIY. This probably goes with the thrift store finds, but man, isn't it rewarding when you make your own stuff? Be it clothes, stationery, accessories, snazzy artwork!
  • The color yellow. People may disagree on this one, but mustard is hot. Ochre is delicious. I went into Target the other day, and it was a sea of glorious yellows.
  • Typography. Wish I'd done this class in college. Fonts are sexy, and historically interesting. Oh yeah. Give me some of that letterpress!
  • Cheese plates. But not everyday. That would spoil you. Every once in a while, they make you feel rich and classy. And cheese! Awesome.
  • Social movements for equal rights throughout history. Fight the man!
  • If they are well done, movies about social movements for equal rights throughout history. They pump you up and make you feel excited and grateful to those rockin' people in the past who sacrificed so much for things to be a little bit better.
  • Interchangeable base items of clothing. The one shirt that looks totally different or new when paired with that scarf, that necklace, that hat, or that jacket.
  • Craft stores. Of any variety.
  • Teal copper patina.
  • Walks in the woods. Alone or with friends.
  • Clean water. We're fucking spoiled in the USA.
  • People that are dedicated to their craft, whatever that may be. I respect it.
  • Tea parties. And chai on cold mornings.
  • I went to the gym the other day, and I was the youngest, skinniest person there besides the staff. It was probably the most confident I've felt about myself, maybe ever.
