- the bell jar:
- writer: sylvia plath
- ★★★★½; this book seems like two different books in one. the first part (before she goes home) has a very cohesive way of narrating although coming back and forth in time. the other one we have long periods of time that are not narrated and the stream of consciousness is more fluid. i like this book very much but it is not a five star one because i don’t know what i just read and this is a bit frustrating.

- ariel:
- writer: sylvia plath
- ★★★★☆; being sylvia's magnum opus i can’t say i expected less from "ariel". some of the poems are extremely raw and some are extremely deep and with a lot of interpretations. my favourites are ariel, medusa, the arrival of the bee box, gulliver and tulips. this last one made me sure of my first tattoo! however, i don’t know why but it can’t give this book a five star. i loved this, but it felt so dense and hard sometimes! i couldn’t really get the meaning of the poems on my own although is a must read for me.
march
- wind, sand & stars:
- writer: antoine de saint-exupéry
- ★★★☆☆; i loved the first half of this book! it was so great and full of relatable and seemingly positive messages. the description of flight and engineering of an airplane were just marvelous. however, i couldn’t care less about the second half, it felt distant from the reader (myself) and so boring. it’s really a bummer but i have to give three stars for this book as whole.
april
- flush
- writer: virginia woolf
- ★★★★★; i found this book one of the greatest i've ever read. it's a pet biography and it couldn't be more humam. truly, i fell in love with this piece and with flush so deeply it's not fair! in the last ten pages i felt so desolated because it was finishing and i knew, as any biography, that the end was going to be his death; it really got the best of me. however, this is beautifully written and a great introduction to woolf's literature. loved it!
