Name

  • Asa - the name I chose for myself as a non-binary, genderfuck, genderqueer, neutrois individual. I see it as a gender-neutral nickname for my given name, which does feel a bit awkwardly feminine sometimes.
  • Asuka - some of you whom I know for longer probably know me as this. You can still call me this if you like!

Pronouns

  • they/them - this is what I prefer, hands down. I know it's a bit of a handful to get around, but if you use they/them pronouns for me I'd be a very, very happy cat. Basically if I had to pick one pronoun to stick with for the rest of my life (and ignored all societal implications as we tend to do in these theoretical conjectures), I would go with this.
  • she/her - I do still respond to she/her, although I like this far less than I do they/them.
  • he/him - some people refer to me as this and I'm 150% on board with this as well.
  • ok, honestly I'll respond to anything except "it".
