The House of Founder Godric Gryffindor. Its members are known for their bravery, determination, chivalry, and courage; however, they are sometimes regarded as reckless by the other houses. The Gryffindor common room is located in one of the towers of Hogwarts Castle, more commonly known as Gryffindor Tower to members of the house. It has a frequently changing password, which must be spoken to the portrait of the Fat Lady in order to enter.
