• Make chalk murals/masterpieces
  • Play in forests with ribbon sticks and pine cones
  • Picnic in all the parks
  • Eat watermelon and Popsicles while running through the sprinkler
  • Road trip with fun books/music/ and locations
  • Visit the zoo
  • Make crafts outside, with glue and sparkles and colours and ribbons
  • Dance, run, laugh
  • Swim all the time, whenever possible
  • Travel
  • Play sports
  • Make them hilarious breakfast/lunch/dinner compilations and faces
  • Bake cupcakes
  • Teach them empathy, compassion and social responsibility
  • Allow them to make decisions
  • Have slumber parties in tents in the back yard
  • Make epic forts (and teach them to clean up!)
  • Don't buy them too many toys. Kids can find magic in the trees or with crayons and gigantic pieces of paper
  • Allow them a day to choose exactly what they want to do (within reason)
  • Be somewhat spontaneous
  • Teach them to be themselves
  • Teach them that the world is big, and life's adventures come from exploration
  • Teach them to take care of others
