- Do not be cruel. Do not let your actions or words hurt people, and prevent other people from hurting themselves or others.
- Do not judge people categorically. Do not form prejudices.
- Do not judge people in general.
- Absolutely try your hardest at anything you attempt, or else think harder before you attempt it. Do not settle for less.
- Seek to educate and inform even when it takes bravery to do so.
- Stand by what you believe in, but also keep an open mind and be kind to everyone.
- "Your heart is a weapon the size of your fist. Keep fighting, keep loving."
- Live consciously -- everything is a choice and everything has meaning.
- Listen first and think before you speak.
- Never be bored. Pay attention to the small things, pay attention to the moment, enjoy the present, be curious about everything -- it's these things that matter.
- All limitations are self-imposed (for me).
- Assertiveness is attractive, indecisiveness is not.
- Love everything you can.
- Have more fun.
- Don't overthink shit.
- Nothing's the end. Most things either don't matter, or you can change them if you think outside the box.
Things that describe me:

I would modify our government to be a more compassionate, democratic, transparent government with:
- less violence and involvement overseas,
- less money-driven politics,
- less corporate power,
- free press with more rigor on actually telling news and less on entertainment,
- better justice system, so people don't get under- nor over-punished,
- less corruption in all fields,
- much higher minimum wage,
- heavily subsidized, reliable, convenient public transportation in almost all areas,
- better bike lanes, with raised islands dividing the car lanes and the bike lane on every multi-lane street,
- plentiful, well-stocked public libraries, at least one in every district,
- give public schools a bigger budget and less inane standardized tests to keep great teachers on board,
- create large, clean, and children-oriented parks in every area so that anybody can access them, like San Francisco's Golden Gate Park or New York's Central Park,
- provide free, high-quality extracurricular activities for children, including:
- music lessons and rentals,
- access to sports,
- camps over breaks,
- more free support systems for people who are struggling:
- financially, e.g. with loans, employment, or food and housing,
- with illness, mental or physical,
- with abuse, mental or physical,
- generally more social programs, benefits, and empowerment for everybody,
- yes, that means steep taxes for the very wealthy (250K+, I daresay),
- focus on children and education above all.
