Tuesday 2/19/2013:

• Sent 123 Exp 3 to Nick before 155; I don't even care anymore.
• 132 midterm 8-10 PM! I didn't even study before the exam; instead, I watched the end of Castle, Bones, The Office, and the beginning of Scandal instead. May have been a good idea. May have been a bad one. Who knows.
• Jake got me curry from Punjabi Tandoor! And did dishes (I think that was today)!

Wednesday 2/20/2013:

• Lol Professor Galperin kept making mistakes on the board bc he stayed up with us last night.
• Drank Mexican Mocha from the stand outside York Hall; SO GOOD. It was like a cinnamon roll, chocolate, AND whipped cream all together! Burned tongue in the elevator.
• Talked to Yao and Frances for a long time because everyone was out watching Patrcya's practice second year exam; watched them pack a column. I'm pretty sure I could pack one if I need to now.
• OMG PROFESSOR SAILOR WENT ON AND ON TODAY. He made mistakes trying to do the radical iodine doping mechanism, taught us how to use four-point resistivity measurement, then he cautioned us about HF. At the end of class, he talked to Chuck, Nick, Jake, and me about the previous TA, Alex, who jumped in front of a student whose O-ring burst and got sprayed in the face with alkylating agent, thereby earning a TA of the year award. Then he kept repeating his story! Argh.
• Went with Jake to pick up his dry cleaning and his free two medium subs and drinks from Jersey Mike's. The dry cleaning lady was super loud and talkative and warm, and reminded me of Ms. Janssen. The Jersey Mike's people talked to him about his green Portlandia shirt, and asked him if he watched the show (no) and if he had just got back from Portland (no).
• Called parents tonight while Jake got mad at his father and ran out to get a haircut. Talked about EVERYTHING bc I was so caffeinated, including little kid memories I talked with Jake about in the car on the way to pick up his dry cleaning and sandwich.
• Had SUCH weird dreams, including one where I hallucinated someone's face in the window during the night. -__-

Thursday 2/21/2013:

• Anxiety poops while negotiating my synthesis selection with Professor Guerrero. Lost track of time in the morning while doing laundry and dishes. Went to class. Went to computer lab to make lists for an hour and a half. Went to class. Went home. Phone died on the way home, and Jake stayed a little later at lab.
• Then we went to get groceries at 9:15 PM, where I told Jake not to get a whole HALF CAKE of red velvet and instead get a quarter-cake-sized muffin for a late night snack. It fell over while he was bagging his groceries, and he was all :'(. He thanked me later for stopping him though.

Friday 2/22/2013:

• Went to class, got a Mexican Mocha, set something to recrystallize while talking to Andro on the phone. Went home at 11 AM.
• Email UCSD Rec to ask about beginner classes.
• Email CHEMIE REU and CCE to ask about my application.
• Put beef patties in fridge.

Saturday 2/23/2013:

• 10:30 AM meeting with Andro!
