Friday 12/28/12:

• Depart to Lake Tahoe.
• Ate at Grand Sierra Hotel and Casino. Underwhelming "Garbage Salad."

Saturday 12/29/12:

• Mt. Rose 12-4 PM: Jake's first time skiing!
• Ate at BJ's Barbecue.

Sunday 12/30/12:

• Hope Valley snowmobiling: Left hotel at 6:15 AM; "rode bitch" according to Jake.
• Wading in snow at Camp Richardson for an hour.
• Wash dishes.

Monday 12/31/12: NEW YEAR'S EVE!

• Sat around for most of the morning.
• Ice skating at Northstar.
• Babi fell on the ice and hit his head. :( :(
• Ate the best Sicilian pizza of all time while waiting in the cold.
• 9 PM fireworks! Gave Jake a kiss tonight!!

Tuesday 1/1/13:

• Another afternoon skiing at Mt. Rose! Jake's second time skiing. He lost his lift ticket. Also had a kinda-fight at the end because I wanted a picture and the phones weren't working.
• Finally ate at that buffet at Grand Sierra. Again, underwhelming.
• Watched Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy on PBS. I love documentaries!

Wednesday 1/2/13:

• 2-5 PM Cross-country skiing at Tahoe Donner. Siblings used snowshoes. Went 2.4 km total (North Fork + Pony Express). Nice man at the Moondance Lodge gave us hot chocolate and oreos. Jake was home sick. :(
• Costco dinner: Mac and cheese, deep dish pizza, rotisserie chicken, and Caesar salad from the bag.

Thursday 1/3/13:

• Cross-country skiing at Tahoe Donner. Went 6.4 km total (North Fork + Pony Express + The Last Round-Up) to the Cookhouse. It was tough going!
• Dinner at In-N-Out.
• Watched Mystery at the Museum marathon.

Friday 1/4/13:

• Cross-country skiing at Tahoe Donner. Went 2.4 km (North Fork and Pony Express) with everyone but myself in snowshoes before they realized they liked cross-country skis better. Then went 2 km (Meadow Loop + Cup of Tea + Piece of Cake) together, then went 1.5 km (Cup of Tea + Piece of Cake) with Jake while the siblings went their own way (Wombat's Ramble, possibly).
• Drove home and went to Komi in Daly City. Jake tried raw geoduck, slow cooked ox tail, frog, pig feet, sea cucumber, and herring roe for the first time, among other things.

Saturday 1/4/13:

• Sat around in the morning with dad and sister. Made eggs on tortilla for myself and curry star pasta for my sister.
• Left at 11 AM!! to go to Japantown. Got a ride from dad. Walked through East and West Mall. Got stationery. Ate okonomiyaki and udon. Took (purikura) [www.yelp.com/biz/pika-pika-san-francisco] and failed a little bit. Jake got a strawberry and nutella crepe with whipped cream and ice cream. Went back to bookstore so Jake could get two manga books. Went back to Daiso to get an umbrella because it was raining.
• Walked to Good Vibrations (1.4 mi!) and got 12 condoms for $10 and played with fleshlight sleeves.
• Took the J then the N back to Sunset Blvd, where dad picked us up to go to Dim Sum King. Jake tried all the food. ^_^
• I miss my family and Jake all being together. :(
