it was a rollercoaster ride watching through bridgerton, and i am SO NOT prepared for season two after watching season one. the amount of drama there was especially with the featheringtons was just a lot to grasp, although it was really enjoyable. and i think i just found my new comfort couple that i actually really liked and that is daphne x simon <3 people around me has been going on and on about how kathony is way better and since i havent watched season two yet, i cant really comment on that, but something about daphmon is just so cute. AND ALSO "the duke and i" BRO THATS SO ABJSBHJFBHAJFN!! their eye contact with one another is just top tier and them laughing together is just super cute. i love couples that just refuses to tell eachother that they love eachother but when they do, they really show it. my perfect enemies to lovers pair. they both had a rocky start with eachother, and they both used eachother for their own benefits. the amount of times they had sex was WOW. i didnt think it would be that intense. of course i skipped it all but i was watching it on netflix so i just clicked on the right side to skip every 10 seconds and well i did see some. hahahaa. WHAT WAS I EXPECTING THOUGH THEY'RE LITERALLY ADULTS??? well daphne was really innocent that didnt know much about that sort of things, especially how to make a baby. but lets look at the keyword of that sentence, "WAS", YOU WANNA KNOW HOW SHE KNOWS NOW? BOOM, SIMON. that one scene where he was explaining it was a bit uncomfortable for me and daphne but yeah. i also love how they both confess their feelings for eachother. simon being "i am yours daphne, i've always been yours" and daphne "i love all of you even the parts that you believe are too dark and too shameful" THE SCENES THEY HAD WAS SO EMOTIONAL AND FOR WHAT? especially when they were dancing and it suddenly rained. the rain definitely made it more emotional then it had to be. i literally couldnt care about anyone else other than them, they were all that i looked forward to in each episode. them holding hands, simon picking her up, daphne sitting on his lap, god every moment of them is just the best and makes me giggle. and guess what? THEY HAD A BABY TOGETHER IN THE LAST EPISODE. i really wished it was a full episode instead of a two minute scene though :(

im starting season two soon, its so upsetting how simon wont be in season two because of his actor's busy schedule, but at least we get to see the baby all grown up! i look forward to kathony and daphne talking about how much she loves simon to anthony. also, some people are saying that simon may be back for season three? i really hope so, im craving for more daphmon scenes. so for now, im just coping with edits and rewatching their scenes. i dont even remember much from season one other than daphmon really, and also, daphne punching that creepy guy was just MUAH chefs kiss. i like how they didnt make simon do it, i LOVEEE strong women that can protect themselves, as well as protective men. although there are some flaws about daphmon and their love was a bit toxic, they solved it together and really had good communication. sure it took them some time to eventually talk things out, but its better than nothing! not to mention how daphne literally chose a duke over a LITERAL PRINCE. that alone was enough to show me that daphne really loves simon.

overall, 8/10 for me. the only thing that kept me watching was daphmon honestly. i nearly stopped watching twice because of the featherington drama and that pregnant woman's story although what happened at the end for her was really sad. the last letter he wrote for her :( if you really like things based on royalty and all that, definitely give bridgerton a try. you can watch bridgerton on netflix, i heard that there are also books of it, you can buy them at any local bookstore near you or download a legal pdf to read :)
