the show was incredibly good especially the last episode, like the acting holy shit dude. one thing that i didnt really like is the cgi, it was a bit wonky like when the burns siblings were fighting monsters in the graveyard, felt like i was watching a disney channel show tbh. and the part where the dad was turning full vampire due to the "snake" DUDE I LEGIT THOUGHT A ACTUAL SNAKE WOULD COME UP ON HIM BUT IT WAS CGI...when the snake was on the mom's shoulder it wasnt but oh well...whats funny about that scene is that there was a LITERAL mirror that showed the dad struggling it was a bit funny LOL. other than that, this show wasnt as bad as people describe it to be. give it a chance, i really liked it. sure the acting, cgi and parts of the show were questionable and hard to go through (same i had a skip plenty of scenes) but there are some good stuff about this show that i really enjoyed. especially the last episode COME ON NOW THE LAST EPISODE WAS EXECUTED PERFECTLY.

first kill is a lesbian love story about a vampire and a vampire hunter, obviously that sentence alone was enough to get me started. i was waiting for it to come and finally it is here. cant say im that disappointed, the first two episodes were BAD. the rest? honestly went well i really enjoyed it considering how im stayed up late watching it till the end, its literally 5am while im writing this. anyways, i DEFINITELY want a season 2. i mean, leaving us on a major cliffhanger is no good. what happens to theo? what happens to cal and juliette? "had never met ____, maybe i could've loved moderately." STOP IT. god these two frustrate me but i love them and their silly dorky relationship so its fine. the ending where cal was running after jule's car was heartbreaking, and the scene where the mom had to give up theo pretending like she finished him off was even more heartbreaking. seriously you gotta watch the last episode cause i cried a good 3 times watching it, the acting on that episode was too good. i mean, theres a reason why its called "first betrayal". also, i love it when chapters take after the title. "first kill" "first date" "first fight" "first goodbye" ALSO the name first kill was super smart considering they both have never had their first kill and their families want eachother to be their first kill. i find it cool. anyways, all the characters? LOVE THEM. ben is a absolute fave of mine and i wish i got to see him more, as well as theo and apollo, so seeing them being separated hurt. "its the burns brothers forever" ENOUGH. also, jule's sister and brother are so damn hot. would smash both of them TBHHH also im interested in the parents' love story. how she abandoned the alter to be with her human husband and even turning him to a half breed was honestly praisable. me and whooooo HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

anyways, i give it a solid 7/10, i really hope if theres ever a season two, please step up the cgi game a bit. as well as the camera work like theo's flashbacks. instead of making me feel sad i HAD TO LAUGH CAUSE OF THE FACE THEY MADE....also the zoom in on her teeth....dont really need to see that...but i really liked it nonetheless. never gonna shut up about the last episode btw like IT WAS SO GOOD? last episode itself 10/10 bro solid 10/10 no doubts no second thoughts. if you can handle second hand embarrassment and love a tension filled show, first kill is good. also the kiss scenes? SEVERELY UNDERRATED. the kiss scenes were the highlights of this show they were really good. like i said though, do give first kill a try before underestimating it and calling it cringe.
