- staying up until 5 o'clock in the morning, crying, and eating tomatoes
- lovesick, drunken confessions and the confusion that ensued (and having you there to make it better)
- curious encounters with strangers who think we are recovering heroin addicts
- wandering aimlessly around the shire and taking naked naps (and precisely why we were wandering around aimlessly- thank you gnarly head and yellow tail)
- jesus and tomas, free cigarettes, across-the-street-dance-offs, and bad cover bands/ college reunions
- when they said we were different than anyone they had ever met before in their lives
- wearing each others clothes and feeling like we were all grown up
- watching oh! brother, where art thou? with my dad and quoting the entire movie, and telling him we were breaking hearts when he asked us what we were doing
