- collect objects that relate to your childhood or inspire memories. write a brief story to accompany each object.
- write down (or document) fifty things about one of the following: a trip to the library, a trip to the grocery store, a walk in your neighborhood
- collect multiples of one thing (such as leaves, stones, shells, seeds, etc) lay them out in front of you. observe them in detail. using the 'object log' list differences you can see. try to document at least twenty-five things.
- go for a walk. identify and document existing "art" that you find, such as things that are not created on purpose. some examples include stains on the sidewalk, spilled paint, bird poo, residue, corrosion, rust, things that are damaged, random arrangements of objects that you find interesting, a bag caught in a tree.

- do a stencil (can be for a flyer, on a wall, on the street, in your bedroom)
- write little notes in tiny pieces of paper, something like fortune cookies. glue/tape them in places where they can be found by the right people.
- go to a place you've never been before (a friend's house, a restaurant, a bookstore), write your expectations and your impressions about it
- start a mystery, leave clues, leave people curious.
- send someone an anonymous postcard, try to make them feel good, never let 'em know it was you.
- make a board. you can leave a big piece of paper on your office/school/living room for people to draw or leave notes on it, or you can ask for the people of your choice to perform the task of your choice in it.
