collecting as a hobby. ♡ / usually, i collect the photos i like the most. if i don't have a specific photo in my collection, it doesn't mean i think it's ugly, but maybe i don't like the photo as much as i like others. just like we might like some songs more than others in an album. it doesn't mean you hate it, but you'd rather hear something else if you have the chance. i love photography, it's one of my passions, reminds me of my childhood, and that's why i want to collect only the prettiest photos (imo).

i see photocards more as >photos< rather than trading cards like sports/pokemon collectors. i like the idea of "receiving photos of your closed ones" just like my family did when i was younger.

side note... i don't have a problem owning replicas of rare items or other merch in general, as long as they are decent replicas. so i pretty much have my two feet down on earth, i don't have delusions of a full official collection knowing collecting is expensive and i'm not starving to buy 85x55mm photos. be well <3
