“Please don’t tell me you woke up at 3am to bleach your own hair”

“Okay, I won’t” The now blonde boy replied with a small shrug.

“I’ll go get Jeno, stay here.” Renjun tells him, as if Chenle has any other choice.

“Why don’t you carry me?” Chenle grumbles. He already feels bad enough that Renjun has to tend to Chenle’s injuries every time his clumsiness takes the better of him, he doesn't want to drag Jeno into this too.

"I am not nearly strong enough to carry you five floors up the stairs." Renjun replies, ducking down to press a kiss to Chenle's forehead. "Now, be good and don't move."

The five times Renjun rejects Chenle’s hints of affection, and the one time he returns it.

A hand on his back stabilises him, and when he turns around, Chenle in all his deep-fried pink hair glory is right over his shoulder with a small smile. He passes a large cup of Renjun’s go-to order while mouthing slowly, Were you waiting long?

Renjun feels his heart skip a beat, then immediately kicks himself for letting his heart skip a beat over Chenle Zhong of all people.

(Or, Renjun is Deaf, Chenle is cute.)

Chenle let out a loud exhale and put the weight back into its place. He must have been so tired because he was imagining seeing Renjun’s reflection in the mirror smiling back at him.

Unfortunately, back then Chenle suspected Renjun had no idea he left his thighs burning because of something else he could not exactly describe. Well, fast forward to Renjun touching him again while Chenle laid down on the treatment bed, because he was going through rehab. Isn’t life really funny?

A story where basketball player Chenle pins for his naggy physiotherapist Huang Renjun after an injury.

Jisung knew that Renjun was in a relationship. Everyone did.

No one knew who his partner was, though.

As a good, concerned (and nosy) roommate, he decided to go through a list of guys who Renjun could potentially date based on everything he knew about them and how they acted around Renjun, only to be proven wrong each time.

He only finds the answer later, one that he didn't expect.

“I’m just saying.” Donghyuck knocks back his fruity little Starbucks drink and adjusts his glasses, the thick black plastic ones that make him look like the emoji that auto fills when you type “nerd” on your phone. “Ball guys are like horse girls. A horse girl will never love you as much as she loves her horses. A ball guy will never love you as much as he loves his balls.”

“Nice wording,” Renjun snorts as he clicks one of the multiple choice answers to his Quizlet test. What is the definition of Draymond Green?

(Or, Chenle likes basketball, and Renjun likes Chenle.)

What does Chenle usually do to get out of his head? Mostly things Renjun doesn’t care much about. Gaming. Basketball. Sex.

Wait. That might actually…

“No wonder all our friends are in love with you.” That gets a startled laugh out of Renjun. He’s used to the others saying things like this casually, but the attention still flusters him. “You’re so dramatic.” “No, I’m being for real,” Jisung insists. “Everyone in our friend group has either already kissed you, or wants to kiss you. No one is immune to the Renjun effect.”

In which everyone wants Renjun except Chenle, and Renjun just wants to know why.

"Baby, is this guy bothering you?" Jisung hears, and then Chenle throws himself down on the sofa next to Renjun. Baby. He'd called him baby. Jisung can only stand there, gaping like a fish out of water.

"No, he's just, um, advertising?" Renjun says. He smiles encouragingly at Jisung, and Jisung nearly forgets about Chenle for a moment, his brain buzzing loudly in his skull. "Sorry, I didn't catch what you were going to say. Go on."

"Ah. I see what's going on here," Chenle interrupts, grin like the Cheshire Cat's. "Gege," he says, turning to Renjun. "This guy—" He tilts his head towards Jisung. "—Has a crush on you."
