jisung doesn’t understand why renjun has so many plushies.
renjun loves his big boyfriend but, most of all, he loves his big heart.
jisung’s always been the kind of guy to catch feelings for someone doing the bare minimum, but in this case, all renjun did was have messy hair and a cute yawn.
Whenever Jisung has to leave - as dramatic as it sounds - he thinks he leaves a little bit of his heart behind with Renjun. He thinks it’s only fair; Renjun gets to keep a piece of Jisung with him while Jisung has a valid excuse to come back.
Jisung knows that it’s merely just his imagination, but thinking about it makes him feel a little warmer inside.
jisung is a clumsy spiderman. renjun is always there to catch him.
even though it was muffled, jisung could still hear renjun's laugh, "eyy, jisung-ah, what am i supposed to do when you're acting this cute, huh?"
jisung turned the tap off and turned to face renjun. he engulfed the older in a bear hug and hid his face on his hyung's neck. "you should give me a... kiss."
Jisung's mother doesn't seem to understand how important owning a skateboard is to his skater journey.
ten years later, he's in love. and jisung is sure he still will be ten years after today.
Chlorine was not the best smell in the world but Jisung came to tolerate the burning sensation it brought to his nose every once in a while. If it meant that he got to watch Renjun win first place at another swim meet, then he didn’t really mind.
Jisung wakes Renjun up at four in the morning to eat cereal.
It paints an odd picture, seeing the two of them together—Renjun and Jisung, the oldest and youngest of their friend group respectively, curled up around each other in a tangle of arms and legs and gentle snoring. Large and small, yin and yang. But in Jaemin’s eyes, that’s code for adorable. [Or: 3 times their friends catch them cuddling, and 1 time they actually do something about it.]
Jisung thinks Renjun puts the stars that shine above him to shame. If only he could tell him.
Renjun doesn’t typically believe in happily ever afters, but he thinks he can make an exception for Jisung.
Before he can stop himself though, he says, “You didn’t tell me Donghyuck was so pretty.”
Renjun’s head shoots up at an alarming speed, “Huh?”
“Donghyuck is pretty,” Jisung puts it simply, grip tightening around his bumblebee Pillow Pet.
As much as it pains Renjun to admit it, he and Jisung are like, really bad at couples yoga.
Renjun throws his head back and laughs. Pretty, Jisung thinks. And in that moment, being foolishly and irrevocably in love, Jisung tricks himself into thinking that maybe Renjun does smile and laugh in a certain way with him around.
“We don’t like each other like that,” Renjun reminds him.
Mark raises an eyebrow challengingly. “You think he’s cute.”
“And hot,” Donghyuck adds.
“Ignoring all of that,” Renjun says flatly, not wanting to give his friends more things to tease him about. He should be allowed at least a tiny piece of pride to hold on to. He shrugs. “We’re just roommates who get along well, that’s all. It’s not unheard of.”
Both Mark and Donghyuck scoff. Renjun doesn’t appreciate it at all.
“Who let you get your own room again?” Renjun chuckled, eyes rolling at the sight of Jisung’s dramatic act. Jisung sat up, turning to face his phone and frowning. “I’m old enough to have my own room! No one ever taught me how to make my bed, I always got Jaemin to do it for me.”
or
In which Renjun comes to Jisung’s room after the latter incessantly begs him to help him make his own bed, and the night ends with the two dozing off in each other’s arms.
Jisung wants to see the stars. He wants to see the stars with Renjun.
It’s only after the boy walks away from him for the fourth time that Jisung realizes his mistake: he keeps forgetting to ask his damn name.
That’s fine, though. He’ll just do it next time.
(Probably.)
"Renjun-hyung," comes Jisung's voice. Renjun doesn't turn around. Maybe if he doesn't look at him, he'll cease to exist. If a dongsaeng calls your name and you pretend not to witness it, does he actually make a sound?
"Hyung." Jisung falls dramatically over the arm of the couch, inching forward so he can rest his chin on Renjun's thigh and peer up at him. "Cook something for me? Please?"
Jisung doesn't hate it, no in fact, he really doesn't mind it that Renjun is wearing his clothes.
When Jisung makes a half-hearted google search for “how to get over a crush,” he doesn't expect to discover a blog full of letters asking for relationship advice. (He doesn't expect to fall for the words of the mysterious "Daydreamer" who runs it, either.)
