wonu + gyu

In which Kim Mingyu is the star player of the university’s varsity basketball team, while Jeon Wonwoo is his best friend’s older brother, who’s more of a bookworm.
Mingyu’s a struggling bio-chem major with exponentially falling grades and a penchant for disaster in the school laboratory. A heart that just won’t quit pining for his attractive, quiet seatmate doesn’t help things either.
mingyu does some questionable things sometimes (though with good intentions) and it’s up to wonwoo to clean up the mess afterwards.
on a list of things that wonwoo never expected to happen to him, a giant wearing a medical mask with a pot of what smells like hot soup at his front door...is pretty low on the list.
he’s also probably experiencing a fever dream. because he has one – a fever, that is. he’s been sneezing and coughing his lungs out for three days, with no end in sight. it’s finals season too, so he’s forbidden jun, soonyoung and jihoon from visiting. they don’t need to sacrifice their summers for makeup exams like him if they can avoid it. so he’s just wrapping himself up in blankets, steaming his face whenever he can and praying he can sweat the fever out.
“‘ello,” he croaks out. and promptly blacks out.
While seeing pets every day in his job, Wonwoo still didn’t know how to handle a human-sized puppy that came bursting into his heart.

Vet Wonwoo is just here to do his job and Mingyu and his sick cat weren’t part of the equation.

Minghao goes to a club and gets mistaken for a high schooler. He's a little (sexually) frustrated at the bartender who insists on treating him like a child.
shua + dokyeom
“fine, i want to go look at the brook. maybe there's an actual path to the mountain on the other side.”
“how?”
seokmin blinks at him. “with my legs?”
“no, i mean are you skipping over and humming or sneaking or what? how are you approaching?”
“does that matter?”
joshua pinches the bridge of his nose. “no, i guess not."
or: joshua teaches his roommate how to play dnd and maybe confesses along the way.

Tonight, he wakes up to an empty bed. The clock on the wall shows it’s nearly 3 a.m and the coldness of where Joshua’s body should be engraved on the mattress tells him he’s been awake for a while.
Finding him is not hard, at least. Because they know each other. Because Minghao knows.
Minghao wasn't a confrontational guy, so when this annoying Korean-American shows up in his life, he avoids him at all costs. These are his reasons why.
Joshua doesn’t know how they do it, how they can stand the weight of all those eyes on them all the time. How they can know that people are looking to them for leadership and guidance and just handle it, live up to that expectation. Joshua had it one time and he fumbled it so prolifically that it is probably lost forever.
“Hey. Hey,” Minghao says, waiting for Joshua’s eyes to find his. “You don’t have to be everything to everyone.”

Soonyoung finds it a little too hard to say no to the hot single dad across the hall.

- ❥ absent virtues but they’re not exactly missed
Junhui’s never been a very patient man. So when beanie guy struggles through his third sentence in Mandarin, he cuts him off, ignoring the way Minghao giggles from his perch behind the counter. (prompt: “you’re an international celebrity and i didn’t actually know that until after we went on a first date that explains why you were acting so secretive now how is this going to work because i don’t want to be in any magazines but i’m already completely in love with you”)
Joshua doesn’t normally have days off during the week, so when he finally has a random Friday off, he’s going to enjoy it, damn it.
He doesn’t know when he falls asleep, but he does, apparently, because the next thing he knows he’s being woken up with a door slam and a loud voice yelling, “BAAAABE!”
(or: jun comes home and needs a cuddle.)
In which Joshua donates blood to avoid a class, and runs into someone entirely unexpected.
Why unexpected? Because, well...
The thing about Jun is that he's a bit of a subject of gossip on campus. Not that Joshua tries to engage in it; really, he doesn't! But he overhears quite a bit from Jeonghan's conversations with Seungkwan and Dokyeom to at least know what people are saying— —and what people have been saying for a while is that Jun is a vampire.
junhui and joshua steal, scam, and fuck their way through life, following the wind (and the sweet scent of cold hard cash) where ever it takes them.
jun + hoon
A date auction to benefit climate change, except nobody told him he was a part of it.
Or, date auction AU with Junhui and Jihoon.
Junhui does things for Jihoon. Jihoon notices.
kwan + wonu
Wonwoo tries out a new exercise class as a resolution. Seungkwan can't believe that anyone with a face like Wonwoo's could possibly be into him.
This is the part Seungkwan remembers the most clearly: walking to the cliff’s edge, inhaling cold air, throwing weight behind his words.
“I want what you have,” he yelled, hands cupped around his mouth, face turned toward the city.
hoon + hoshi
Jihoon thought he finally got rid of the emotionally constipated phase but thank god Sooonyoung is always there by his side to remind him everything will be just fine.
wonu + jun
after a series of failed romances, wen junhui decides that romantic feelings are worth not even a second of his time.
then, in comes jeon wonwoo, with a heart bursting with love, and a mind set on proving to junhui that he, too, deserves to be loved.
vernon + hao
Hansol can take the pain away from others at the expense of taking it on himself.
He’s able to keep it a secret from the other members, and is happy to keep it that way. He doesn’t mind doing it, even when it’s too much.
And then Minghao finds out, and it’s all downhill from there.
cheol + jeonghan
Jeonghan has big plans and he's determined make his nerdy boyfriend Seungcheol happy - even if that means going to a convention with him.
One hobbit and and an ill-conceived purchase later, things don't go quite as smoothly as he'd hoped.

Seokmin’s not brave. It’s not something he usually has a problem with, but now that he’s staring love dead in the eye, he wishes he didn’t always cower.
(Or, the one where Seokmin’s boyfriend, Minghao, confesses to having a crush on Mingyu.)
Mingyu asks Minghao to write love letters to Seokmin on his behalf. Only problem is, Minghao really likes Seokmin, too.
