• Sidenotes: The theatre was completely empty and I got to enjoy the show myself. I even changed my seat bc I realized my attempt at trying out a new row was wrong. the 2/3 is the best seat in the house.

The movie was alright. Could do with more Eddie and Venom interaction. I went into the movie without much context since I haven't watched the first one. The villain's motivation was great and even though it was a cliche, I still was shocked when Carnage and Cletus didn't work out, and Carnage basically ruined all the plans. Eddie and Venom felt like they were just everywhere. I couldn't fully grasp what the two wanted at each scene and the motivations kept changing for me. I'm sure it was everything they mentioned but it was always bits and pieces for me.

I also got bored with some of the conversations and couldn't pay attention even during the last fight scenes. The worst was in the middle when Eddie was angry and figuring things out with Venom.

Favorite Moments: There was a shot of Carnage with the Cathedral's glass windows lightly up behind Carnage and then him "raining down" on Venom with God rays shining behind him. It was great.

I really liked when Anne was seducing Venom in Mrs. Chen's body. I thought that was really great, a little out of leftfield, but great.
