Wednesday
- Call funeral homes for pricing (Generations at (248) 426-9200; Gramer Funeral Home (248) 435-9010)
- Make a f*cking choice
- Call the anatomical donation and Beaumont people on my decision. Possibly inform Christine. I dunno.
- Put all paperwork, school supplies, notes, etc., into as few boxes as humanly possible and put those away
Thursday
- Fax forms back to Generations when done with the gathering info.
- Call Beaumont people about my decision
- Ask Christine if she knows how long I have to file my mother's final taxes
- Get packing tape and hair product from the dollar store
- Clean the dishes again, make dinner, clean those dishes
Friday
- Go through my clothes and stuffed animals and put some of them into boxes for donation.
- Take all of the clothes I plan to keep and put them into the Space Bags.
- Contact the probate office about gathering the necessary paperwork to shut down the bank account and get information released.
Saturday
- Dismantle everything that I can and put whatever I can manage to not use for a few days into their appropriate boxes
Sunday
- Go through my mother's file cabinet and sort through the papers in there.
Monday
- Contact Generations about how long it might take for the death certificates to be released to me
- Gather and take out trash
- Print form for probate court
- File paperwork with Emergency Funding people
Tuesday [best birthday ever, by the way]
- Go down to city hall and buy a death certificate for probate court
- Pack away the books of my mother's that I can donate
Wednesday
- Go down to Generations (or have them scan & email it) to get the bill for my mother's cremation.
- Measure the chair and put it on the list
Thursday
- Ask Linda if I can borrow her bike
- Go to Staples and have the scan printed
- Go to probate court and file to get the paperwork to do the bank stuff.
- Go to the bank and discuss the nature of my mother's account, anything that might need taking care of, and terminate it.
- Call Generations after I get out of the bank
- Pack away various nick knacks.
- Gather electronics to be donated to the Best Buy e-cycling. Only these can be taken.
Friday
- Donate as many things as possible to the Salvation Army
- Give unused prescription medication to the disposal facility [Royal Oak PD at 221 E. Third St.]
