  • Grading Criteria: What your instructor expects you to do:
    • Demonstrate an ability to lay out provided information in a structured and logical manner, using typefaces and variants that are relevant to the information being communicated.
    • Create three separate designs that each effectively depict the meaning of a different word or word combination with type. In all three cases, the style and character of the type, even if distorted by effects, must be visually supportive of the respective words.
    • Present a brief written description of the typefaces used for each part of the exercise, detailing why their characteristics match the tone and the mood of the information being communicated.
