• LAST ON: GS, fled, gas form. Went outside for wind, struck down. Wynne looking at staff.
• Potion of Heroism (Kratlyn), 50g each, potion of healing (Bella) off GS's body.
• Barb busts open the door to the south of GS's room, full size Owlbear with splinters in is face. Wynne talks with animals, Owlbear just passes. Chirpy is a chihuahua, intimidates. Owlbear accepts Chirpy as OUR alpha. Passes by and leaves.
  • Lhupo - goblin outside (snack). with the dead pet thing.
  • Room owlbear was in used to be a workshop. Nothing original seems to remain.
• Bella notices a chest 15ft up.
  • Bella, Wynne, and Barb all wanna do three kids in a trenchcoat.
  • Kratlyn gets the chest while we're arguing - it was an act of God, Tyr. War dogs bark (Tyr's sign).
  • Scroll of Silence (?), Scroll of Revivify (Barb, holding only).
• Old bugbear, living area, wolf, and some gobbos. He wants more info from Gundren.
  • Wynne tries to deception, GS staff was the key to the Forge of Spells. Goes badly.
  • Bella says GS was betrayer, and will save King Gobbo. We're just trying to bargain for Gundren.

  • Bugbear wants a blaze of glory, but is poss willing to retire.
• Bugbear talks in Gobbo. Emma and Wynne flank a door, Barb follows along. they open the door, and we all hit the creature on the other side of the door.
  • drow spy, in death, turns bald, long limbed, sharp teeth. some sort of shapeshifter.
• Black Spider, Nezznar, drow, worshipper of Queen of Spiders. Wizard.
  • no progress until the Gundren + brother came in
  • lots of danger. dangerous creatures grown from ambient magic, attracted all sorts of nastiness.
• Kratlyn casts heal on Gundren, Barb flanks to get between King and Gundren. Bella also casts healing. Kratlyn asks Bugbear's name. Grahl. Former king of the Cragmores.
  • Grahl laments how things crumble - Wynne calls it freedom. Be a different kind of leader.
  • We invite the Bugbear King to our halfway house. He will stay, for a bit, and follow behind us.
• Wolves surrounding Lhupo, "so you've adopted more?" We explain the bugbear, the new wolf, the misc gobbos.
• The wolves part ways with us at the edge of the forest, "you have the most interesting hunts." But it time for them to hunt, themselves.
• Grahl, gives us Gundren's maps to Wave Echo Cave.
• Head back to Phandelin. Rest overnight, and continue in the morning.
  • 10 days since we left, (so four more days until deposition of Wester - the cowardly town head)
• Bella asks about the shiny, Barb pivots to look at Kratlyn. Kralytn rolls stealth (1, at disadvantage). We arrive at Phandelin, and head to the Manor.
  • Wynne goes to explore GS's old study (no idea what happened)
  • Barb: guest quarters in the back, set Gundren up. Eyezak wearing apron, working on the stove.
  • Droop encouraged Eyezak to "expand my horizons", Eyezak went into the forest.
  • thing that doesn't seem to die, from the trees and tried to kill him.
  • terrifying looking creature. sort of like a bat, no fur, long probuscus (sucky thingy). undead? only one Eyezak found. boiled it for three days, still moving.
  • small creature, "tiny."
  • Calls over Bella, and Wynne comes over. Calls it a Stirge - it was enver alive, likely, is undead.
  • Wynne stabs it in the skull with Talon. Veins swell black, and dies-dies. Eyezak dumps out the water, along with mush that is veggies (were also boiled 3 days).
  • Lhupo brings the dead corpse of his pet, and Eyezak chops it up and prepares it for brunch. Lhupo takes a bite of it, "it's good." Lhupo eats up the creepy mosquito thing.
• Sildar knocks on the manor door, and finds Emma.
  • Sildar believes the God thing with Tyr. We tell him about the dragon, brokering peace with the King of Gobbos.

• Neverwinter may be able to send reinforcements. Sildar has been training ppl as a small town guard.
  • Spider may? be in cave? we should have days, maybe a week. Three days away from Neverwinter.
  • sildar is sending Darren (half elf)....
  • Wynne asks if Aemar and Roger may be able to help us.
  • sildar asks to stay for dinner, we say okay.
  • we end the session at a lil family dinner.
• couple things to bring up to DM:
  • time change (an hour later, preferably)
  • which character?! want his opinion. ultimate think it might depend on how Mines end - but unsure. still need to get him a "doc" for JJ... if i choose them.
• notes for joshua:
  • really anxious that no one was there early, but hopped in at like 1 or 2 past, no one was there. fine, hung out while muted for a bit. put a video on in BG, no one came. probably 10 minutes, not quite 15? time is hard. hopped out, too much anxiety to message. lots of second guessing myself.
  • left, kept checking to see if anyone was there every couple minutes. after an hour and a half, stopped checking. no one else came in that i saw, and no one messaged. so no meeting up that i saw.
