  • stop waiting. there is no rose-colored future waiting for you. all of your futures are colored grey, the same color of the grind that will never end. you have to stop waiting and focus now. this is where you are, this is your life. the happiest days of your life are not coming - they are now, and you have to live them.
  • get angry with yourself. get angry when you stop working, get angry when you break off connections, get angry when you stop yourself from being good. you can't afford to be a child anymore, so stop living in some daydream where your problems don't exist, because they do, and you have to work to solve them. get angry with yourself for being static, for being passive. you need to work to be happy, to get rid of this perpetual anxiety.
  • accept that no one can love you until you love yourself. losing weight, becoming confident, pretty, and smarter is not going to make anyone love you. perfecting yourself is not going to make someone love you. people love by choice, and people love because they see the person who they think will make them happy. you will not make anyone happy if you cannot make yourself happy. love yourself, and radiate light.
  • stop. stop cursing, stop being negative, stop berating yourself, stop exuding your stress and your dysfunctional attitude everywhere. you walk on a path you pave - this is not the path you want.
  • you cannot have everything. you cannot be likeable without loving yourself. you cannot be thin without taking care of yourself. you cannot be happy while wanting to be unhappy, while wanting to have something to blame all of your problems on. you cannot have it both ways - so stop. take responsibility of your desires, and make the sacrifices necessary to achieve them.
  • stop being so horribly lazy. you have dreams. you have always had dreams, and in all honesty, you know you have the talents to achieve them. stop being lazy and work at what you want. you can't use your procrastination and your laziness as excuses anymore, not unless you want to end up exactly where your parents are now. you can do it, but only if you try.
  • stop thinking. life is like running. you are in perpetual pain, thinking constantly about how worthless you are, and you are waiting and waiting for the end. it gets too painful when you think about the fact that you are exhausted and tired and about to give up - it is only endurable when you turn off your mind and just focus on the rhythm and motion of yourself. so do that. you're at your unhappiest and your most self-critical when you're sitting there, thinking and being introspective. throw yourself into your work, throw yourself into creation, just focus all of your energy and passion into something else. just stop thinking about how incapable you are, believe in yourself, and just do it.
