a bit late but it sure is august. in any case, has anyone else noticed that people are trying to move on to fall already? like, it's still summer, i hate to break it to you. i just hate having false hopes. it's still going to be hot and miserable for a while, just hang tight everyone. aside from that, right now i'm in the crunch of planning for my trip and making sure i finish my portfolio at the same time. woo is taking on new people right now and i'd like to get in! i have some friends in there so i hope they'll pull through.

well now i really have to work on this stupid portfolio. like i mentioned above, woo is taking new people! so i'd like to have it out and about... that means having things to put in it i suppose. which i do, but i need better pictures of them. oh boy.

i kind of forgot about lughnasadh. i told the boy "happy lughnasadh" though so a win is a win. anyways, this is a gaelic holiday celebrating the first harvest, and the beginning of the transition into the darker half of the year.

this was from July, but i received a strong message from Hecate in regards to the boy. i did my research and it lead me to cord cutting, so i had asked him to do one of them. (though unfortunately he got very sick around the same time... interesting coincidence...?)

i did a shower ritual dedicated to Hecate and asked her for more guidance for myself and the boy, and she told me clearly to trust in my instincts, my wisdom, myself. not long after that the boy woke up and told me he had a dream about learning Japanese from a person who reminded him of me. they encouraged him to keep learning. i'm going to take the sign as it comes... that was probably from Hecate. I DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS SO... LOUD ABOUT IT! that was so cool. anyways, i hope we can do that cord cutting soon.
