First of all, I feel obliged to mention that february has always been (and still is) my least favourite month of the year. The coziness of winter's frozenness (heated houses, ear muffs, parsnip and pumpkin soup etcetera) has subdued; and we've still got a long time to go before our toes can be warmed by sunwarmed happy green tickling grass again.

Ergo I feel that I ought to make this month's 'favourites' list very hippy happy; in order to beat the weariness of winter!!!!
