• Heinlein and Herbert
  • who both kind of put their views within their sci-fi worlds. Their commentary on inner workings of government, morality vs. law, how human notions of morality, duty and resilience are built etc. is some of the more interesting shit out there.
• Stoic thinkers
  • Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus
• Jordan Peterson
  • mostly self help, really useful with recovery and building confidence. Helped me understand a lot of my own cognitive phenomena
• Ayaan Hirsi Ali
  • anti-FGM women's rights activist who discusses her experience with religion
