JANUARY

THIS PLEASES ME

• This girl is my vlogging inspiration. Also, she has a cool name.
• Found a Regular Show calendar. OHHHHHHHH.
• Found a Rise of the Guardians calendar.
• Finally started my Penguin Drop Caps book collection (Jane Eyre). I WILL HAVE THEM ALL.
• Bought ALL THE REGULAR SHOW PLUSHIES.
• BOUGHT A TOTORO PLUSHIE. OMG, I FINALLY HAVE ONE.
• My English class is awesome this semester. Prof is approachable and very intelligent. I love that combination in a teacher.
• New Paramore song.
• Found an okay dress for my cousin's wedding in February. The shoes, however, are gorgeous. If I wore more/looked nicer in dressy outfits, I would wear them all the time.
• FOUND AN ADORABLE MARSHALL LEE T-SHIRT.
• Had to concept and illustrate a comic for a French project and I chose to do something Regular Show-related. Was pleased with the end result.
• NEW JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE SONG AND IT'S GOOD.
• OMG, TEGAN AND SARA'S NEW ALBUM. CLOSER IS A FUN SONG.

ANNOYING

• I WANT TO VLOG AGAIN BUT I'M LAZY.
• I don't really like my French 1002 professor.
• I will never understand or enjoy economics. I don't care if it's the basis of day-to-day life. I'm not going to be a stockbroker or anything that would use economic-related information so I don't understand why I have to ruin my GPA with this damn class.
• Living two months without pizza. Especially since Dominos extended their large pizza deal from Monday to Thursday.
• I get way too excited about pizza commercials.
• Back to bad sleeping habits.
• Why is my cat so senile? Please stay off the counters; you have water in your dish, you butthead!
• My cat has taken to using one of the chairs as a scratching post.
• Unproductive weekends (aka: I need to read more and watch more movies saved on the DV-R/start going to the movie theatre again).

FEBRUARY

THIS PLEASES ME

• Finally got one of those neat-o round lip balms (by EOS in Honeysuckle Honeydew).
• I love Joseph Birdsong.
• Having my English professor choose my Persepolis blog post to read aloud in class for discussion and receiving a very nice comment from a slightly overzealous student about said post.
• Finally updated from Leopard to Mountain Lion on my Mac.
• NEW POSTAL SERVICE SONG AND IT'S GOOD.
• I am growing super attached to the TV show Banshee.
• CESARE/LUCREZIA FEELS FROM THE NEW BORGIAS TRAILER
• Cheap "like new" condition books on Amazon that I can use my Prime account on (rare finds, but so nice when I do).
• Gel manicures are fabulous. And I love taupe colored nail polish.
• Good nights of sleep and waking up feeling refreshed.
• When my dog sleeps with me on cold nights (he's such a good sleeper; he doesn't crowd my bed).
• Feeling like a (dysfunctional) model when I strut around in five inch heels.
• Nice people who invite me to work in their groups. (Seriously, though, why are we still forced to do group work in college? If you don't know how to work with other people by now, you probably never got past elementary school.)
• Nice people who lend me their econ notes.
• My awesome new phone (a Samsung Galaxy S2)! Finally, I own an actual smartphone! Never have I been so ecstatic to sign onto Instagram.

• THE FUCKING GAME OF THRONES SEASON 3 TRAILER. MY BODY IS READY. I AM NOT OKAY.
• I got even more lovely comments on my newest English class blog post! For once in my life, I feel like I've chosen the right major.
• ATLAS GENIUS' ALBUM YOU GUYS. OMG. AUDIOGASM. FUCKING AUDIOGASM.

ANNOYING

• I STILL WANT TO VLOG AGAIN BUT I'M LAZY.
• Fights with mom.
• Stickers on books are the devil.
• Can't avoid the French cocktail party this semester because it's on a Friday and I don't have class that day. Friday is my day off and now I have to spend it conversing with upper level French students and teachers. How fun. Also, we have to dress up........
• Bad sleeping habits bad sleeping habits bad sleeping habits
• The stupid "warm-ups" at the beginning of my French class.
• Randomly checking The Fades on IMDB and finding out it was canceled.
• Dry hands. Specifically mine.
• Ugh, I have to go to a wedding this weekend for a cousin I'm not even that close to. I hate dressing up.
• "Casted." Please stop it.
• I just want Clarissa Darling's clothes. And actually her hair, too, sans the 90s bangs. Also, I miss my super blonde hair.
• When I order "like new" condition books on Amazon and they come in not-so-great shape/it wasn't specified in the description that they were from a library book sale.
• Trying to do my hair.
• I'll say it again: weddings.
• The "My Girl" dance (it's personal).
• Numb feet.
• Having to go to school the day after I waste my free Sunday getting ready for and going to a wedding.
• Fucking traffic in Georgia, and those GODDAMN WARM-UPSSSSS!!!
• Friends who forget plans.
• So Cult kind of sucks so far. Not willing to give up on Matt Davis yet, though.

THIS PLEASES ME

• BOUGHT SEASON 2 OF GAME OF THRONES!
• Catching up on Elementary. This show has officially acquired a spot in my top new TV series. And pairing it with Person of Interest doubles the awesome. CBS is on a roll!
• "I'm in a hurry, should I select your undergarments as well?" GTFO you asshole I hate your face
• Caught up with The Following. CW's Cult wishes it was this awesome. It's everything I wanted and more, with its awesome Edgar Allan Poe references and cults and serial killers! Plus its usage of two of my favorite Deftones and Massive Attack songs combined with a creepy, vampire-like serial killer atmosphere! I also like that is reminds me a little of the first Scream movie (yay, Kevin Williamson!).
• I LOVE YOU ISAAC MARION!
• Good hang out nights with my college buddies.
• These dudes.
• Random kidnaps from school that end with hang outs at Taco Mac. (THEIR QUESO IS FUCKING DELICIOUS.)
• BOUGHT SEASON 2 OF THE BORGIAS!
• Been enjoying the random room tour videos popping up on YouTube: 1, 2, and 3. (And P.S., Ashley Mardell is adorable!)

• I just want a cute phone case... like these. Is my phone not worthy?! It deserves to look cute too! ;-; DINKLEBEEERRRGGGG
• Not impressed with Warm Bodies the movie.
