- the first night
- in the clear night / her dark hair / mirrors the stars
- she takes a last look around her: the night is beautiful, and this place sits so high up that there are no lights at all in sight. / except for those above her. / those lights are why she is here. there are so many of them in this dark night, in this place so far away from everything else, that she feels like falling toward them every time she looks at the sky.
- the crazy stars
- blue worlds / going around / points of light
- everything else in the All-There-Is went around our Home-World: every evening, the stars would come up in the sky, move across it, and disappear in the morning. the Sun would chase them away. at night, the Sun's Sister would appear: at times, she would be full and round. night after night, she would gently disappear, until, after two weeks, she would become dark. then she would grow to become full and bright again.
- a bigger place
- behind the stars / space-time grows / silent
- space and time had to be married and form a new thing
- sometimes, they put the dark matter ears in deep mines, where other people bore to look for pretty things to put on their fingers
- death by fire
- with their last breath / a blushing of light / from far-away stars
- she steps outside in the cold night, holding her cup of hot coffee with both hands. the White Road is beautiful in the dark, clear sky, and, once again, she can't help but be amazed by it all. it does not matter how many times she has seen this before, or how much she knows about what is out there. the sight of the stars is enough to make her gasp.
- the dark push

- so many worlds / all that can be / is
- when the sun comes up
- everything opens / at the smallest touch / of a rose
- she sits down. the big blue body of water in front of her seems to go on without edges and without end. she can feel the warm hand of the Sun on her face. she feels happy.
- to my daughter, thank you for putting a smile in my heart every time I look at you.
- to my wife, most of all, thank you for being the brightest star in my All-There-Is. without you, none of this would be here.
