I fell in love with the idea of listography while flipping through the books in a small shop on the California coast. Ginger. Preppy. etc.

  • The Newsroom

We will start here if for no other reason then because my love for it spurred this rant. So for those of you who aren't familiar the show is a HBO series(this should have you nodding yes), that follows the inside of a news show and their quest for a return to the news(as in informing the electorate). Although it propagates mild leftist commentary, and frequently spits on my beloved Fox News, I adore how it shows that their are good people in the world and the characters are to die for. Literally cry in every episode. Also touches on awesome moments in recent history (hello I love history), and various political and economic moments. Love it, go watch it, maybe you'll learn something.

  • Franklin and Bash

I love the law. I love shows about law, but this one really takes the cake. Being raised by two lawyers, I can't help but appreciate a good court room scene (hello I lived in one). Former ambulance chasing, little guy attorneys, now big time hot shot partners in a major California firm, Franklin and Bash have stolen my heart.(mostly Franklin, I love you). I stumbled across this show after watching Rizzoli & Isles, and then madly searched the internet dying to watch last season and get fully up to date on this one. They have two hottie lawyers with outstanding senses of humor. A badass con turned investigator and a super intelligent Indian guy who is quirky and I adore. Mix that in with family ties, office drama and interesting cases and literally what else could you want????

  • Gossip Girl

I don't think that I should have to explain. I wish I lived on the Upper East Side, had disposable income, and a Fashion Designer for a mother. Because I am from Central Fort Worth, TX, have less disposable income(much less) and have a Corporate Human Resources Attorney for a mother I must resort to watching Gossip Girl to live vicariously through fictional characters and simultaneously be really glad that its not me. Sex, Scandal, Secrets. Love, Hope, Friendship. FAB CLOTHES. Interesting pop culture references, great music. Okay sorry you either love it or you don't and I love love love it. Rewatched it on Netflix, more than once. Make legitimate comments while shopping like,"that is so Blair, Im buying it" As the final season approaches I plan on dying before I have to say goodbye to GG. You know you love me, XOXO
