- Shoes - I'm going barefoot.
- A huge church - Instead, I want a tiny, adorable chapel like this one: http://www.southport-oakisland.com/index.php/store/48223/thechapel@southharbourvillage or maybe just a field or woodland clearing somewhere!
- A really overpowering veil and/or train - I want the veil to be simple and understated, and maybe no train at all, or a very short removable one.

- A huge, extravagant, gold ring - believe it or not, the metal breaks me out! About the only metal I've tried that I'm not allergic to is sterling silver, though I've never tried anything more expensive than gold, so I'm not really sure. I want something simple, pretty, and maybe vintage.
- A closed-minded minister. I want to do both handwritten and traditional vows, and have my mother give me away, so things won't be exactly traditional.
- Unattractive bridesmaids' dresses. I've never understood the whole "I'm the bride and I don't want the women standing next to me to outshine me, so let's put them in ugly dresses...muhahaha!" thing. My bridesmaids will be friends of mine, so of course I want them to be in super-gorgeous dresses.
- A cake that looks like me (shudder - http://godawfulweddingcrap.blogspot.com/2008/01/wedding-cake-in-her-own-image.html ) Lol! I want something simple and pretty, with fresh flowers I think.
