- Snooki from Jersey Shore How this Oompa-Loompa became such a cultural phenomenon, I'll never understand. I have tried to watch the show in an effort to understand the appeal, but I can barely tolerate it for more than 5 minutes. Just a bunch of vain people behaving badly. Now, she's on the cover of Rolling Stone, and on my list of over-played celebrities.
