9:37AM EST 。　 Thank you Taehyung for releasing this beauty. it’s like he invented Christmas lowkey I’m really happy that his solo music fits him lately 🤍 his voice isn’t strained and its smoothness is being utilized properly I’m so happy. No forced high notes… we cheered! When he does high notes and does them right it makes me really happy though. I’m so happy he isn’t being forced into really nasally pitchy ones. I think his voice is great bless u Taehyung.

Additionally I think the BTS solo releases have been awesome so far… RPWP was a gorgeous album and I really regret that my first time listening was IN MY FRENCH CLASS ON SHUFFLE. THE TRANSITION FROM NUTS TO OUT OF LOVE!!!!!!!! FUCK!!!!! NAMJOON!!!!!!!!! I hope JK releases another album soon enough too… Don’t even get me started on Seokjin. Happy was so pretty. I think the songs all perfectly fit his voice and range… his music is so HIM. FUCK!!!! I just wish the album cover was prettier like wat is that… also the songs all being 2 and a half minutes. I really don’t like this trend … Maybe when they get back as a group we’ll see 3:30 again but I kinda have doubts because this Greek singer my aunt has loved since the 90s is putting out music that’s 2:40. I’M SCARED!!!!!

10:27AM EST 。　 I think a main thing with kpop lately is the decline in choruses… You’re never going to see a real chorus these days. It’s all onomatopoeia or one word repeated again and again or something really mediocre … there aren’t really any dynamic choruses with actual vocals in them. I think some real choruses I’ve seen lately are Cosmic — Red Velvet, or In Bloom & Good So Bad — ZB1. They have actual words 😭😭 actual notes and singing… save the industry Red Velvet???

6:47PM EST 。　 Been listening to more 2nd gen kpop recently because I cannot stand the newer sounds. It’s lately been girl groups but I’m listening to bgs now too and discovering more :3
